Now that Halo 3 is over six years old, is it easier or harder to get a high skill level? Comparing it to mid-2008 when a lot of players, including myself, hit their peak. There is obviously less population now, but that population is more of a hardcore audience that still plays after all these years. So does that mean it would be easier to attain a new highest skill level, or would it actually be harder because the competition is so elite? Or perhaps it is the same as always, not easier or harder? By the way, my highest skill is a 48, but I am not even up to that quality right now since I’ve been playing other games and I’m rusty, I’m probably more like a 46. But once I get my polish back, what do you guys think? And please don’t reply hating on my 48. I know a lot of you 50’s out there think anyone lower than you is a joke, but that is all relative.

You can’t possibly know that. You meet good players now and you met good players then. It’s just fewer of all kinds of people, good and bad. I feel it is easier, but that is just because I have improved since I got my first 50 in 2009. While I couldn’t carry myself to 50 at the time, I have no problem doing that now. A player that hasn’t been playing at all would feel otherwise, that it is a lot harder, than he can remember.
There is some gameplay of me. I am on the Blue Team called DeMoNCaaT.> Now that Halo 3 is over six years old, is it easier or harder to get a high skill level? Hah, if it makes you feel any better, I have had Halo 3 since Christmas, 2008. I’ve completed all Vidmaster achievements, completed each Halo on Legendary solo, racked up 1800 custom games and when I go into social games, I always see myself coming out on top, and even though all of that. It’s hard to see that I am still a highest rank 15. I’ve just never grasped Ranked in Halo 3. I LOVE Ranked in Halo 3, don’t get me wrong, I fought for it in Halo 4. One day I may even get to 20 in Skill. But Highest skill isn’t everything
-btw if you want to add me, I’m starting to play Halo 3 a lot now. GT: Chaos Vigorous.
Even funnier, I have only progressed around 11 exp since Bungie’s stats went down. Though I know my K/D isn’t 0.84 any more. Have a look there, May find something interesting on me.
Here’s some pictures of me now, and two games from one today and one yesterday.
