Halo 4 needs a visible 1-50 high skill ranking in game. I don’t want it if its on waypoint. I will take the game back if its not a visible 1-50 in game

First off, OP some thought and reasoning would be nice. I’m not saying I don’t agree with you, but that is not a very persuasive post.
Anyways, like said on the big bring back the ranks thread, we should all tweet Kevin Franklin (lead multiplayer designer.)
Tell him why you think the ranks should be visible in game.

H4 gives no reason to win or play at all for that matter.
They need to add 1-50 because there’s not enough legs to their progression system to stand on it’s own. You unlock everything within your first few days of playing.
The whole solution is simple divide the playlist into Social/Ranked. H3 did it and it had great success casuals can have their fun, while competitive has theirs. Easy solution

Let me explain to you exactly what the CSR ranking system will do.
- For one, it will only be visible on waypoint, not in-game or in the lobby.
- You will have to be on the persons friends’ list to see their CSR ranking, on halo waypoint, on your computer. (or dashboard I suppose)
So pretty much, you will never know the “Rank” of the people you are playing against.
Furthermore, The “Ranks” CSR will be providing aren’t based off of your Win/Lose ratio, it will be based simply off of how many games you have won, incorporated into a combination of kills and deaths + assists. This will be a very unsatisfactory replacement for the 1-50 ranking system, and under no circumstance should anyone think it will light a match into the community and keep people playing.
Also, when searching for a match, it wont go off of your CSR rating, it will still go off of the inconsistent true-skill ranking system it has since the game launched.
Read the bulletin, you will find all of this to be correct.
