high quit % should not be matced with low quit %

People who have a high quit percentage should not be matched with people who have a low quit percentage. I get so many quitters online and it does get annoying especially if it happens game after game or when you have a nice winning streak going.

That be interesting to see. Two groups of high quit % playing against each other. Might end with 1v0 with 7 dnf.

After I beat you 1v1, we can run some team games together. I don’t quit, win or lose.

Quitters should be matched with other quitters to see if they like it. This might help to lower quitting altogether.

That’d be awesome lol!

I wonder if 343 can tell if someone quits, or if they lag out… That’s the determining factor. If they’re logging the quitters, why would they log the actives? It would be great if 343 did what the OP stated, but highly unlikely.

I am sure they can easily tell the difference between someone quitting and lagging out. Especially the players that hit start, quit, and leave. I am sure it is very easy to tell when players do that.

I do agree players with high quitting % should not be matched with low % quitters. I would guess they are still tweaking the ban methods. By the time H6 comes out there should be a pretty solid engine to work from to punish quitters.

People would exploit that by disconnecting from the internet when they want to quit.

agreed. i am sure this is being tracked

This is honestly just to balance people. Everytime I hit above 50% win rate I lose 1 or even rarely 2 games that will bring me down below 50%. Therefore, I come back with 1 or 2 wins above 50%. Strange conspiracy I tell ya.

Disconnect or quitting have the same impact.

it gets annoying having so many quitters

If they are banning for quits it has to be tracked

I completely agree with this! Sort of like a soft ban of sorts? Maybe, remove the option to quit completely? But back to the soft ban thing they could emulate Dark Souls in a way. Anyone caught cheating or hacking could only be matched up against other player’s who’d done the same thing. So, clean players like myself could duel/co-op with other players who weren’t -yoinks-

I stopped solo queueing because of quitters.
