My ping is very high as well, which is why I’ve never played PVP on Halo 5, only firefight. What is your ISP? Vivo?

I’m using NET VIRTUA, but its not the main problem. I dont know why 343 remove the region lock for South américa players in arena mode. After that, we only can find north american players with a high ping and lag. Im think the search logarithm is not the correctly. Its so bad =[
What this game should of had was selectable servers. At least that way you could have some control on what server one plays on…Which would be the one with the best ping. Another problem is the fact that this game was installed on preexisting MS servers. Which are not placed geographically for us gamers… High ping rates always lead to poor game results. Sorry to hear this… :-/

You’re mainly an Arena player, right? My ISP is GVT/Vivo (former GVT client) and the ping really sucks most of the time, but, since I only play firefight, it’s not as noticeable. and here’s the strange thing: I’ve been paired with people speaking spanish, english in Londonian accent, japanese, our own portuguese dialect. I really have no idea what criteria they’re using here.
yeah i play with 180ms pig everytime(always put me on seattle server or uk servers). im in mexico btw
I think the 343 is starting to leave the halo 5. I hope that the next updates come an improvement on the server, more open maps in arena mode and a more selective matchmaking.
