Well, since no one replied to this, I can help you out for 2s and 3s PT if you’d like. I find that customs are a good way to learn since no one can get butthurt about losing games that matter online.
But really, if you’ve got friends that are also seeking to get better, playing customs with someone who can teach benefits all of you in a way that you all can learn from, rather than having you tear up noobs online that can’t defend themselves. And, likewise, if you run into a strong team online, you won’t learn much by getting roflstomped besides seeing how far behind you are. Learning how to do something well takes time, it’s not something you’ll pick up in a few matches, which is a major reason customs with a core group of friends can be very beneficial.
