High latency to the dedicated server

Hi,

My brother is currently living in Singapore and I’m living in California. We both bought xbox’s this Christmas to play halo together but were sorely disappointed when we found out that we couldn’t play together b/c an error popped up saying “One or more members of your fireteam has high latency to the dedicated server.”

Will 343i do anything about this? Are there any workarounds?

Both of our NAT’s are open, and when we play custom games the lag does not seem to be much of an issue, if at all.

Any information on this topic is appreciated.

Im in Taiwan, and when I play with people in U.S. i also see that message in the lobby, but if american person is host and starts the game, it still starts fine for me every time.
