Hi. Anyone else having issues with an error right beside the playlist that says “One or more members of your fireteam have high latency to the dedicated servers” right after the update?
I live in a third world country and my internet isnt as great as most of you. And changing ISPs isnt an option. This has made my Halo MM absolute hell. Is this going to be fixed soon? Or is this permanent?
Yes, I have the same problem. After the update all of myfriend in the same region ( South East Asia) got high latency to the server in the playlist option whether with fireteam or without. Never had the problem before the update.
Hi, no you’re not the only one. We, in southeast asia, are also suddenly experiencing this latency issue after the hammer storm update.
All, I mean, ALL playlist options are displaying the “one of your member of your fireteam has high latency to the dedicated server”… Even when I’m playing ALONE!
I truly believe this is some kind of bug/glitch in the update, cause I was just playing until the night before the update and this NEVER happened! (Unless we were playing with someone intercontinentally of course).
Now, thats not even the case anymore it seems.
What the HELL is going on 343?! We demand answers or you’re gonna dissapoint a lot of people soon.
PLEASE FIX THIS!!!
Not to mention, that lag is very VERY noticable now in each matchmaking game, where there wasn’t before (our internet connection is more than enough where we live).
Gonna have to stop playing this game until 343 fixes this unholy crap of a bug/glitch.

Yes, from what ive been reading from various threads it seems that this is happening to many people. 343 should really look into this. I just want to play a normal matchmade game. Not a lagfest.

Ive noticed this also. Sniper shots not conneting, players going through walls etc…
Yep, I’m getting also. Never used to prior to update. Playing from HK.
Any update, news or progress for this matter 343?

This might be because the region lock has been removed. However, I can still find matches despite the warning. Though I experience issues like my req system being unavailable.
I am experiencing the same issue in Hong Kong and so are my Friends here. I have 1mbs fiber optic connection so it’s definitely not a connection issue.
Matchmaking has been horrendously laggy for me today and has been nothing but frustrating to play. I am extremely disappointed in the game at the moment and hoping they fix this ASAP. I never had this issue before and until it’s fixed I don’t even know if I can play anymore.
I do have some lag spikes here and there, but it never actually restricted me from joining a game. That did happen once back when the game was still being ironed out at launch, though.

This issue actually concerns more to the latency/lag than it is from joining restrictions. We have no problem joining a match, however the lag is very much apparent now after the update (where there was virtually none before).
If they have removed Region Lock, what’s the point in having dedicated servers…? (CMIIW)
Nevertheless, still very VERY dissapointed. Practically lost my interest to play anymore.

Same problems in Brazil…each update comes with a new problem…
So Latin America, South East Asia, UK, Spain and HK, have the same problem for high latency and in game lag. The latest 142 Mb update doesn’t fix this. C’mon 343 you can do better than that.

Also getting the same problem in Australia - I made a post about it just the other day, and several other gamers in Western Australia, South Australia, New Zealand and Brazil all chimed in with the same issue. This needs a serious looking at - the game is unplayable in it’s current state…
