High-impact teabagging?

In the article in OXM, it mentions that the jetpack is returning, allowing for “boosted jumps.” Now this has gotten many people, including me, extremely excited, as it will no longer be abused the way jetpack was. But something else right afterwards interested me. It mentions that it will allow for the aforementioned “boosted jump,” as well as “high-impact teabagging.” Now this has got me curious. What do they mean by that? The only thing I can think of is that you will slam back to the ground after boosting upwards because of your incredible weight.

Thoughts?

MY GOD! The tea baggers have a foot hold in the war now. Run! Run while you still can!

lol’d so hard

Plausible. 343i doesn’t stop to say how about they want to put more emphasys on the weight from Chief and other Spartan armor.

It’s a glorious art, one that is so complex it goes beyond our very own comprehension…

This is the first gameplay alteration that I actually dislike the sound of; actively promoting tea-bagging is a ridiculously juvenile move on 343’s part. It’s an old and tired gesture that needs to be scoured from gaming once and for all.

Tea-bagging is what makes HALO great.

Bungie heavily approved of tea bagging if you kept of with their blogs and whatnot…

I’m not all that surprised that 343 is following in their footsteps.

high impact t bagging? I hope it’s just t bagging and not some attack you can do while you use the jetpack. Like an AOE (Area Of Effect) attack with large radius, knock back and OP damage.

God i really hope it’s the former.

Haha take a chill pill man, sit back and just chillax haha.

When I see t-bagging it’s usually meant to just be humorous, sometimes it’s because the other guy is a crap-bag but usually it’s harmless.

Besides, it would happen whether or not 343i make players bouncy again.

I’ll just respawn instantly so I don’t have to witness that filth.

Honestly I feel that quote is severely misunderstood since it says it will be returning from Reach I think it will be the exact same as it was in reach and as for the “high-impact teabagging” The author is just trying to be funny or something it dosent mean anything your reading way too much into this

I’d rather not they completely removed the ordinary jetpack, because I’ve seen all sorts of interesting gametypes that relies on it.

Pretty stupid for ordinary gametypes though, and I hardly think making it some sort of jump pack rather than a reular jet pack would help about that at all, let alone if they’ve got some pounding the floor ability built into it. That would be flat out broken.

Wow. Just , wow.

armour lock bagging never really catched on.

> I’ll just respawn instantly so I don’t have to witness that filth.

Taking a game a bit too seriously are we?

> as for the “high-impact teabagging” The author is just trying to be funny or something it dosent mean anything your reading way too much into this

This. If we would have cut out all of the unnecessary attempts to joke in this article we would have ended up with less than a page.

> It’s an old and tired gesture that needs to be scoured from gaming once and for all.

Not the way I use it.

To me, it’s magic. And can be used to fight a potentially massive Flood AI army.

10ft high teabagging.

Could bring a whole new definition to {death from above} if you cause health damage when you land on someone. I can see one new medal coming now…

Has anyone tried Armor lock tea-bagging? it is slower, but it is worth it. It is like the advanced version of tea-bagging.
