Supposedly players with a lower CSR quit matches when their up against more skilled player but what excuse do players with a CSR of 40 and above have when matched with their own skill level quit out. It seems like they are the first to quit out always when they get killed a couple times or the match is difficult for them.
You would think that they thrive for the competitiveness but in actual fact they are not any better than a 1CSR in my eyes when they quit.
Maybe they had something more pressing to attend to like a wedding, or dinner, or chores etc.
This may come to a shock but not everyone cares or possibly even knows what their CSR is seeing as it’s not in game. Just because they have a high CSR doesn’t mean they care about competitive gameplay. Same goes for low CSR players just because someone who may not be good at the game doesn’t mean they’re only a casual that rides around on a mongoose, betrays teamamtes and doesn’t care whether or not they win or lose.
I don’t have or want a high CSR because due to life circumstances I don’t play consistent and as far as I’m concerned that lower the better. If I’m playing in a social playlist I don’t want to play every game like there’s money on the line and therefore don’t want to be matched against players that do.
As far as quitting, you have no idea why they quit maybe they are experiencing bad lag and simply don’t want to put up with it. I know if I start a match and people are teleporting around and I’m emptying an entire clip into them and they don’t die or you’re watching your health drop without taking fire then I’m going to move on to the next game.
This is why pre-game quitting should be disabled and a very stiff reflection on CSR for quitting should be levied. Ironically, some of those that classify themselves as “competitive” have the least amount of sportsmanship.
Way back in the day when the people you played were in the same room (or house), getting up and leaving because the people you played were better then you would have garnered shame, ridicule and disdain.
Now it is all too common, troubling times.

The top hundret of Halotracker are the best example. I know a lot of them and most (of course not all) are just little bad kids that have nothing to do than boost their K/D and win % by quitting in the pre game lobby when the enemies are to good for them.
One of them was backing out against my team like 40 times in CTF with his full team.
Another one (He is on the top ten) was also backing out against us. Then I send him a message and his answer was “I have a better K/D and Win % than you” facepalm
They have K/Ds of 5+
They are the everything else than competitive.
I would love to see them playing against people like ninja or other pros.

so true the only reason most people have those top spots is because they back out in lobby vs people of equal skill/ needs to be fixed
