More often than not I can’t get a match because of the epidemic dodging that is now going on.
HIDE THE RANKS! (until post game lobby).
I agree, the closer and closer I got to 50 the more it happens. I Primarily only play against the AI for this reason other wise I will never get a match. This would be a solution to cowardly dodgers.
I’ve only been dodged once…but that was after I wiped the floor with this guy three games in a row. I don’t blame him.
But yes! Please do it.
I’m not being dodged specifically, it’s my teammates. Whenever I’m paired with high teammates, we get dodged.
I Think XP ranks should be hidden, but CSR must be shown. This is from my poor experience being matched against #1 #4 etc champion players, and I am only platinum. I played 2-3 games, I was able to hold off their rushes, but they would always end up winning (in parties obviously…). So when I see players I know are champs, I dodge. You can say whatever you like but the whole point of a SKILL ranking system is to avoid that. I don’t dodge based on XP rank though, as many times Ive had rank 50s who do nothing but build marines and hogs all game while im trying to fend off the 2 enemy players.

Then you have the same problem…
It seems that the player population is dwindling. It seems that for most of my games now I’m playing against players way above my own skill level, and that’s exacerbated by the fact that they are running in parties against randoms.
I’m starting to worry about matchmaking. I might have to go back to exclusively 1v1.

Parties are another problem. Yesterday I played against a party, one player was onyx for solo (unranked in 2v2), and it seemed the leader was platinum. Therefore, they would match against lower players. My team mate and I got stomped. You can check my match history to find them (Atriox + Shipmaster). Almost all their recent games playing together were wins because they simply stomped randoms. I wish HW2 had the parties playlist like HW1, I really miss it. I had a lot of fun playing in the 3v3 party teams playlist back then, even at low population we still found games (less than 3000pop). If they add cross platform play but restrict PC users in cross platform to a controller (so its fair) it would be good. Then Ill plug my XBox one controller into my PC and play it there.

The PC players will find an easy way to fool the system so they are gonna use kbm instead of controller.

I am a PC gamer, a simple system that is constantly running to check for a KBM being used is all that is needed. To fool the game, they’ll need to fool the PC into thinking they’re “gamepad” (i.e controller) is a KBM. I doubt anyone is going to bother doing that when many already play with a controller to begin with.
I do see your point however, but remember, in order to actually use the Xbox controller, the settings have to be set to a gamepad mapping. Its not as simple as instantly switching to a controller, the setting must be changed from KBM to controller.

What makes me laugh the most is that these dodgers are probably worse than the noobs they’re dodging. Otherwise if you were any good having an inexperienced player should only be a minor drawback. It seems to me that they need someone good to carry them because they’re -Yoink-.
Please I wanna the ranks to be hidden soo bad the higher and higher I GO UP IN RANKS THE MORE i SEE PEOPLE QUITTING
I also think it would just be more fun to go into a game blind on who you are playing (my teammates like to quit when they see a couple of 50’s)… Also on a semi related note, if you select a random leader it shouldn’t show the opposing team who your leader is unless they scout your base out 
It would be nice not to get dunked on by teams full of people 20+ ranks higher than me.
