Hidden Skulls (without youtube)

I have to assume that there aren’t any giant hoops to jump through for skulls in Halo Infinite.
But then, I haven’t found all of them yet - so I could be wrong!

Yes but what if there are? Like in previous games? That is why its better to pull up a guide, you can never know. I have not found any skull in Infinite yet.

Genuinely almost found the grunt birthday party naturally by accident. I legitimately went to the wrong window, had I checked the second one I would have found it myself as I did the necessary setup by accident thinking it was part of the mission.

Also checked 2 of the parts in mission 1 and the skull was in the one I didn’t check, I somehow missed it. Cannot believe I was so close.

Honestly I think I could play for 10,000 hours and still not find half of the skulls. Especially the open world ones.

I found a single skull myself, IWHBYD.

Yea whatever one is in the tree stump guarded by red hunters was the one I stumbled on by accident making my way to the high priority target in that area.

That skull is the catch one

I only found one in my run, without trying, only the normal run

Because its better to achieve it yourself, than to blindly follow instructions?

It would be better indeed, but its not practical, and frankly, is virtually impossible to find them all without pulling up a guide. Simply looking around is not enough. You can check every square meter of every level and still miss some skulls.

How on earth is anyone supposed to know they need to shoot 5 traffic cones in 2 minutes, in order to spawn the Thunderstorm skull? Come on…

I don’t know… But I don’t use guides to start with. I find what I can, where I can… and replay the game a number of times to get that reward you get when you find something yourself.
Once I’m completely stuck, and something has eluded me for too long - then yeah, I’ll use a guide.

I wouldn’t use a guide on a first playthrough though - it spoils everything.

Thats an opinion, players can find them how ever they want

…I mean yeah, that’s why I said “I” in the first place.
However you can’t disagree that accomplishing something yourself isn’t better than having someone accomplish something for you - which is exactly what it is when you “find” something using a guide - you haven’t found it, you’ve just picked it up after someone else found it.
