I personally wouldn’t believe anything anyone in 343 says for the simple fact they’ve been caught out exaggerating numbers twisting facts and flat out lying about aspects and elements of H5

I see that some people are commenting without reading the article. This is recent player count, before it went F2P, and it says, “The game’s population continues to grow”, and “June’s numbers were bigger than May’s”, and so forth. I’m paraphrasing, but you know what I mean.
In more simplified terms: suck it up, haters.

Indeed there is. Honestly, without specific numbers being discussed in that article it seems like a “trust us” article. I’m just too much of an objective person to really be influenced by that.
