Serin Osman is actually Parangosky’s daughter? Or granddaughter? This would explain why she’s in such a favored position in ONI, and also why Parangosky hates Dr. Halsey so much. Because she kidnapped her offspring? Let it be known that I called it right here.
I think if she was, then Halsey would have stayed well away from her, even if she was a candidate match for the S2’s.
Also, we’ve already had an ‘I’m your father’ moment when we found out that Miranda Keys was Halsey’s child.
Having any more ‘oh, these guys are also related to eachother’ revelations would just cheapen the story.
Halo is supposed to be a big galaxy spanning space opera. Having numerous people being related make it seem kind of small and condeced around them.

Besides Serin Osman’s father is the insurrectionist leader on Venezia, and her mother committed suicide after Serin’s clone died, believing that the clone wasn’t her real daughter.

I have a friends who’s as much a Star Wars geek as I am a Halo geek, and he loved the Karen Traviss books, and I personally loved her Gears of War books.

Oh I’ve heard of interracial marriage, one of my best friends is mixed, so please don;t assume and act as if you have some moral high ground. Simply put, there is no evidence of Parangoksy having a Turkish lover and having a baby from the relationship.
