Hey mods, lock it up please!

I think you should get some, but only like 500 xp

I find myself agreeing

I disagree, that’s far too binary.

Yeah, then anyone who plays with randoms can be doomed to the same rank for days! Seriously, OP, think about what you just said.

> I think you should get some, but only like 500 xp

How about ONLY if you are first on your team. Then their will still be some fight in a team thats down.

Any more than that, and people wont care to lose because they still get rewarded.

Why should anyone ever be rewarded for losing?

and just like that shootout in Valhalla has 75k people playing :o

Get friends.

I see why your saying it but when i bust my balls and i do what i can to win and still lose i best get rewared for it. Not a fan of being punished when im trying till the end. Id say make it more of a scale. Most xp for the best player on the team and the last guy gets least. Id find that would make players try harder. Not just punish every player whn 2-3 of them are trying

I do agree.

So what, noobs will just have to go into Spartan Ops if they want to rank up?

Some people just can’t win. If they lose the ability to gain xp, it’ll only put them at a larger disadvantage, leading a percentage of casuals to quit, meaning a smaller fanbase, and less revenue for the next title in the series.

In order for Halo to be at its best, it needs to cater to EVERY demographic. Even bad kids need love.

In Halo 3 randoms were far more dependable than in this game. Why? Because winning carried an incentive. Losing carried a punishment.

So if you’re amazing and your team sucks, you should be dragged down for it? No. Just no. XP is based on skill and performance. You get no Match Victory XP as it is, you just get a game complete + your score for XP. Don’t be so hateful toward losing players.

That’s why on dead times Halo 3 beat Halo 4? Aswell as Reach?

So you’re telling me that this game is doing well or something?

I hate that I agree with you.

Competition is binary. There is a winner, and a loser. Why do people feel they deserve something for nothing? That kind of thinking causes problems in every facet of life, but thats a discussion for another place.

Then those people need to get better or get good friends.

Nah.

The only thing that’ll come from this is promoting the losing team to drop out and quit whenever they realize that they’re not going to win. If anything this’ll only hurt those sorry suckers that get JiP’d into the game.

People dont seem to understand that this game IS in fact doing awful on population and in sales.

Halo 3 made $170 million its first week, US alone.

Halo 4 has made $220 million to date, WORLDWIDE.

The failure that was Halo reach, the game that broke the formula, put a bad taste in peoples mouths for Halo 4. Halo 5 will be lucky to make anything if the trend continues.

Well, I also think quitters should lose 5k xp per quit, after a given 2 per day. 10k after 3 quits.
