Hey look, the store is selling a REACH bundle for 10 dollars that should've been part of the battle pass

No I compared them. They are exactly the same attachments to the helmet. Not only are they named the same, but when inspecting them in the store, it says I have already earned them and gives a date that I earned them.

Look them up yourself.

TAC RS Willow and UA Type B1. Look at the pass and look at the daily Reach item. (Level 2 and level 9 on pass.)

Thanks for that.

So they’ve gone back on their word.

What happened to respecting players investment?

This is the second depressing thing I’ve seen on here in 24hours.

Right. I’m not saying it just to be negative, it was something they stated plainly, and I’m pointing out an unfortunate reality. I wish things were different, really.

Literally not seeing these in the shop. What I see is TAC/M1 COMBAT KNIFE and CNM/BNR/FARNDALE, which neither are in the Battle Pass. Are you using the Waypoint app to view the shop? If you are, don’t. That piece of junk is bugged.

Not seeing these either. Is everyone seeing different things because of the broken Waypoint app? I’m in the game right now. I see none of these.

You’re right. It’s the buggy waypoint app. Thanks for checking and letting me know. One more buggy mess to deal with. . . Draining.

The bundle is called ‘Reach operator’ and it is sold for 1000 credits.

Did Noble 6 canonically have a knife on his chest? Huh. I see what you mean about the Emile stuff though. Thought you were saying it was called Emile’s armor piece, but it’s just the things he wears.

if ya think about it… because of this, they also lied about the fact that you can ‘only get armor pieces in one way’ more lies and nonsense from 343. may infinite be the death of halo here on out

If I google images of ‘noble 6 halo reach’ I see pics of him with the knife and without it. Either way the knife was unlocked very early in halo reach.

The knife was always present on every single chest piece in the entire game as it was used for assassination animations.

Uh hate to break it but totally different attachment to what’s currently in the store. For one you mentioned it being Tac/RS Willows and Two mentioned it as being UA/Type 1B so in other words they didn’t go back on their word cause the daily store helm attachment is actually (CNM/BNR/FARNDALE) I looked it up myself so again no totally different item than what’s in the BP.

Be ready We’ll be able to play as emile in full!

Not only can you acquire nearly every part of Emile’s armour but you’ll be able to rend armour kits completely useless! By adding in parts of armour that were already there in the game from launch! Why cant you see them?

BECAUSE WE KNOW YOUR MAD!

We know there’s a backlash but why not! We’ll sure as Hell make you spend more money on things that would have and clearly could have been the Battle Pass!

We are Microsoft/343, we don’t care about your time! We care about your bank balance and how low we want it to be because you’ve spent your hard earned money on stuff that could have been free in a progression based tiering system!

Thing is both Halo 4 and Halo 5 have gained some more popularity in the last couple of years, especially Halo 4. I find plenty of people in H4 action sack on MCC and honestly the game gets way too much hate for being the only genuinely finished product 343 has ever put out.

This a knife we had by default before lol. Whoever higher up that came out with this store must be Willy riding on nostalgia so hard

You didn’t unlock the knife, it was there by default. I’m actually pretty sure it was on every chest piece, it just moved around based on what other attachments the chest had.

They call the Battle Pass “Heroes of Reach” yet it doesn’t even give us the knife 6 had on their armor. Is 6 not a -Yoink!- hero? I distinctly remember without 6 the Chief wouldn’t have be given Cortana. And was fighting bravely til their last breathe not a heroes death? Remember Reach!

Personally I’m quite happy they are selling armours in the shop

Remember the best way to communicate to 343 that this is unacceptable and not what we were promised is with your wallet. We need the “MILLIONS of customization options” day 1 that includes colors, old armor/kits we’ve already access too for 20 years and everything.

The Halo 4 you play now is quite a bit different from how it was on launch.

To put things into perspective, they basically did a huge balance patch 1 year post launch for that game, before BR wasn’t 4 shot kill for example. So I would argue it wasn’t finished until 1 year later, not to mention it was just a cheap cash grab in CoD clothing.

Not to mention that game also had microtransactions (it was far less IIRC) so it was the beginning of that.

Halo 4 is a fun game if you play BTB, but its Infection mode was trash, all of its launch maps (except for Mercy I believe it was called) were trash, had no real identity whatsoever, Spartan Ops was just a flop objectively speaking, Campaign had good story but extremely lackluster level design and enemy design.

a clearly unfinished Infinite is superior to Halo 4 in my opinion, I don’t know if that’s more of a compliment to Infinite or an insult to Halo 4. People play the good version of a game years later (the one that has had all its DLC/updates) and often forget how bad the game was on launch. People forget that Halo 4 was right after Reach, so the game (frankly) had far higher expectations placed on it compared to 5/Infinite I’d argue. They would’ve made probably 5x the money they made if they were simply less stupid and/or arrogant and just did a Halo 3 clone but that’s speculation so whatever.

Going back to my original point here, Halo 4 had a 50% decline in population two weeks post launch… I highly highly doubt Infinite will go through that. It’ll start off with relatively low numbers (because it is a barren wasteland of content and we’re all thirsty af :joy_cat: ) but it’ll slowly uptick over the months/years sort of like how Sea of Thieves did but probably moreso because its F2P so no reason not to give it another chance.

I think that 343i really screwed up with Infinite, but I blame god awful management (Joseph Staten backpacking that company, I said it) low expectations from Microsoft (“hey guys, could you just like, make a Halo game within X years? and it’ll be F2P with a bunch of microtransactions? yeah, cool. What’s that? you are somehow not able to make a game with 10 maps in 5 years? ok that’s cool. We’ll send someone over that isn’t stupid and he’ll get the job done”) and a 343i that were never actually challenged to do much of anything.

Like bruh could you imagine if Infinite actually released as a full Halo title? Like these people are only half as skilled as Bungie were, they could’ve gotten 10 years and it wouldn’t have mattered because these hapless idiots are too busy twiddling their thumbs instead of getting stuff done.

Summary: Infinite will be drastically superior to Halo 4/5 within 1 year, but the wait is loooong and boring.
