Hey look, the store is selling a REACH bundle for 10 dollars that should've been part of the battle pass

Noble 6’s chest armor
Emile’s helmet attachment
Emile’s left shoulder
A copy of Emile’s left shoulder for the right shoulder.

WOW! Wow wow wowowowowowow

Ugh, I can’t anymore. :frowning:

I found weird how you can equip the armor kits but not most of the individual pieces… Now we know why…

‘‘now’’? We’ve know for a while now, ever since the store bundles got leaked

If they made and sold brand new armors to sell in the store, I would have absolutely no problem with it. Like, of course that would be a thing in an f2p game.

But marketing the battle pass as the reach edition pass and purposefully leaving out the parts they know are the most wanted so they can sell them feels slimy.

This… this is lower than even the most cynical people predicted. Damn…

Hey I found you can buy the helmet attachments in the store that are also in the battlepass. Remember when they said if it’s on the pass, it won’t be in the store? I remember.

Edit: It was the buggy Waypoint app that misled me. There is no overlap between BP and the store at this time.

Its asinine that they do this, instead of making the entire battlepass filled with old armor they then cash cow it and hide everything cool behind the f’d up store. Legit i hate this so much and the fact people gave me flak for the halo mcc armors being changed is annoying as hell

at what point will we stop be surprised by the store selling us stuff?

Haha I agree, but as I said, they added stuff that’s also on the BP. Will I get a discount for item overlaps like that? Because they aren’t selling us parts individually, I may in the future have an option for a bundle of which I have say half of the items already. Will I get a 50% discount?

When the prices are not as astronomical and the items in said store don’t make us feel like we are being Penny pinched for ALREADY EXISTING ARMOR.

Selling new gear, sure. Selling asset flipped old gear, pretty scummy.

then don’t buy it?

Lots of companies sell overpriced garbage, its up to you to not purchase it.

Demand lowers, prices drop, they profit we profit.

Simple.

It’s not just about cost if you read my post.

It’s honestly my opinion that the progression, battlepass, and monetization of this game is going to be its downfall for 50% of the player base one week after launch…….

It’s numbers are already in the gutter on steam and Xbox

define “in the gutter”

Like do you realize just how unpopular Halo 4/5 were? I think it’ll be fine.

Real issue is that the game has no freaking content (little maps, few playlists, even customization options seem limited)

Overpriced stuff being in the store being harmful to a game is questionable, I recall when ES: Oblivion sold horse armor it was scrutinized, yet tons of people bought it anyway, and its still a beloved game.

Most impactful thing will be its Campaign, but honestly because it has no Co-op its less relevant to this game’s success than it might’ve been otherwise.

This just shows how stupid this game is being handled.

This makes me sick. I hate this crap.

They’ve been very clear that each item is only obtainable from a single vector so there must be a difference in them (like a slightly different colour strip on one of them or something like that).

Off topic/on topic: I adore Reach armor and the games overall art style, but wouldn’t the first battle pass want to show off Infinite’s new armors and customization? Put the foot down and establish its own unique style. Why is the first season a throwback to a Bungie game? Identity crisis imo. This would have been a nice Reach anniversary homage or something as such.
