Guys - we’ve already been discussing the lack of coatings for awhile now (especially for some cores), but 343i keeps releasing colour schemes for coatings that are similar to those that already exist. There are already three pink/purple cores in the armor hall. Also two blues, with another white/blue on the way.
Even worse, this latest coating has a weird green on the fabric to go along with the deep purple. I have NO idea what’s going on there. It’s HIDEOUS. Black with a splash of purple might go along well, but why did they throw green in the mix? I honestly wouldn’t mind if the coatings were brilliant each time, but the majority of them are ugly and weird.
They better release cross core coatings soon. Nothing else will save this poor excuse of a customisation system.
What colour schemes do you guys want to see? I’ve been hoping for a dark jet black. Not grey like shadow sorel, like BLACK black. I can’t believe we’re 8 months in and we don’t even have black.

White + Black and Black + White; that one Mark VII coating doesn’t count, it has an ugly neon cyan, ugh. Nothing wrong if you like it, it just not what i like. And obviously the HCS one has red and blue, but i really like how lights reflect on the armor with that coating.
And one that fits the ODST armor for the Mark V core, and since cross core custom. is coming it would fit too with the Firefall helmet.

This is not me being rude or anything like that, but com on now. When are you guys going to wake up???
The game is not designed for “you”, it’s designed for new players, and this means 343 doesn’t care what your opinion is about what they do. If they did they wouldn’t be toying with the player base with the shop prices going up and down, etc… (343 is literally doing things their way.)
So either you jump on the train or you just let it pass you by. It is literally that easy.
Imagine liking Blue in this game.
