I frankly don’t mind the chatter since 98% of the time it’s just praise and the other 2% it’s pointless tips. Really, screaming “They have a sniper” to the corpse with a hole in it’s head isn’t much of a helpful tip but it’d atleast be nice if I could choose my voice and like Reach’s firefight hear it in game. Of course the new version wouldn’t be limited to FF.
The voice overs wouldn’t even have to be human exclusive they could be Promethean or Covenant species as well and even vital characters to the plot. I think someone on these forums would enjoy a Dr. Halsey voice pack.
Along with that what about announcer packs? I don’t hate Jeff Steitzer or Jennifer Hale but I certainly wouldn’t be against Jacob Keyes or Cortana telling me to destroy the enemy core. I know announcer packs might not be applicable for Halo 5 but you never know what can happen.
P.S. The Johnson voice over is top priority.

Well the callout in that case is for you and anyone near you. but that would be cool to have a selection of voices like in Reach.
I am all for being able to hear my own Spartan, even to get voice packs like in Reach.

I remember that being a big request for Halo Reach. I hope if 343i does do something like this they don’t leave Rooster Teeth out of it.

It’s a personal thing… I am just sick and tired of hearing her everywhere.
And it is bad enough she is talking to herself constantly in SWTOR, I don’t need to hear her as both Palmer and a player Spartan at the same time too.
Don’t get me wrong, she is a great voice actress and I am a big fan of most of her work, I just don’t want her to talk to herself… Again.
There are plenty of other actors out there, they need work too.

Ah I guess that makes sense… I personally made my republic commando female because she was the voice actress and loved her in Mass Effect so I guess I may have some bias.

That’s the reason I do not play a FemTrooper, in the later XPs, Satele becomes much more involved, and it just annoys me hearing the same voice coming from 2 different characters. Like I said, it is a personal thing =P
Agreed. The winning combo for me in Reach’s FF was unlocking the ODST armor set and putting Buck’s VO on.
That made it at least 1000% better!

Roland announcer pack would be fun. I recently played the Sops mission 's where he takes the reigns. he’s a joy to be around, I hope he doesn’t join The Created.

I remember Chief and Cortanas voices was the most expensive ones.
Like, you have common, uncommon, rare, ultra rare and legendary voices. It wouldn’t effect the others that play, they can hear the voice they want to hear and you can hear what voice you want to hear. I actually think that would make Halo 5 complete for me personally. I would love to have 343 Guilty sparks voice in Warzone.

Please not Guilty Spark. I don’t think I can deal with him anymore after what he did to Johnson.
I want to have the voices of Paul Mercier, Micheal Hogan, and Adam West to be available to my Spartan.
Maybe we could also have different AI voices as narrators instead of Palmer and the arena narrator.
