I think most of us just want to buy a complete finished game that doesn’t nickel and dime us. I may not speak for everyone but would have definitely saved up and bought game for $100+. Bought the halo 5 legendary edition for that much wouldn’t have minded buying base game for that either love halo. But the fact that the campaign and multiplayer are separate and to get the full multiplayer experience I am spending extra every season just sits wrong with me. I am fine with some small issues but monetization is not one of them. I mean battlefield 4, 1, and 5 all had issues that got fixed over the course of the game difference is they didn’t charge me a monthly fee to play to the game as intended.
Good stuff me too
Maaaan I feel you I’d rather they raise the price of individual games then to be nickeled and dimed for what is less the a $60 experience
I agree 100%
Thank you for your time
This is only scratching the surface in terms of issues. Controls are another concern. Not everyone has the attention span or willingness to go and tweak the game to the settings that would make it optimal for them from the start.
I can’t sell this game to friends over the net by saying. " well you gotta adjust your deadzones first, then go increase your FOV change that at least 100, then change your sensitivity."
I get “F— this!” as a response. And these are people who want to get their kids into the game.
Give us better base controls
additive items instead of items that were previously free
I’d say my experience has been different as far as controls but I will say spot on with certain weapons BUT none the less it is very much worth a looking over and tweaking. Thank you
-Yoink!-, not gonna lie that response got me a little juicy in all the right places.
I’m 1000% in support of seasons based on famed squads, teams, factions, etc. tha sounds wicked (especially if they made customizable infection themed armor)
Thanks for the input I love it!
id pay for map packs. hell id pay for whats here now if it was a fourth of the price or lower. I bought the campaign and the season pass because I Cant stand modern halo armor. but the multiplayer isnt complete, and I dont buy that it takes as much effort to put in a gamemode as they say it does.
Why do you want any sort of system to constantly put money into? I can’t even fathom this. Who actually has a preferred preference of constantly throwing money away? How about a 1 time purchase of a working and full product?
I do actually think that is part of the overall plan. I assume each season’s fracture event will have a theme. Like this seasons theme is Samurai. Each Fracture event will have a free line of unlocks for players, with a base new core based on said specific theme. I bet they aren’t really being clear to save for spoilers, but they could drop some leaks here and there to explain the plan with the upcoming seasons and events. Seeing as this is the first time they are trying this and MP isn’t story based, it’s ok to show “a little leg” to get people excited.
Why does there need to be a system like that?
What players want is as simple as it can possible get:
A fully functional game
One that hasn’t had its featured gutted to be re-introduced later as part of a DLC, Battlepass or a shop. And isn’t performing like its been built in the span of 2 weeks right before release.
Claiming that “They need to make money” is not a good excuse. Consider that all the major studios were able to grow to the size they are now by simply creating actual full-featured games that worked right out the box for the price of anywhere between $30-$60. The amount they were able to make through sales alone was enough for these business to grow.
The industry has simply convinced players to spend more and more money while the developers of these games are providing games with poorer performance than ever before even though they are making them with the “latest” technology. All the while stripping more and more features from them.
