How about we enjoy some customs. Just finished a few custom games to be as close to classic gameplay as I possibly could with custom game editing. I made several gametypes. Here are the gametypes I’ve made so far:
Classic Slayer - Halo: CE
Classic Team Slayer - Halo: CE
Classic Slayer - Halo 2
Classic Team Slayer - Halo 2
Classic Slayer - Halo 3
Classic Team Slayer - Halo 3
Classic Slayer BRs -Halo 3
Classic Team BRs - Halo 3
I’ll be working on more gametypes such as Classic SWAT for Halo 2 and Halo 3 in the near future. I used the Slayer Pro initial gametype to make these. I may remake these in Infinity Slayer to include the Random Ordinance drops because as of now there’s no map ordinance period. And obviously sprint is still in because you can’t toggle sprint off. But, these custom gametypes are the closest I could make to the classic gametypes of Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3.
If anyone wants to start a 4v4 custom game on these gametypes to see how you guys like them, reply to the OP saying you want to. You may also message me over XBL. GT: DonnyDoo22. When I have a 100% clear schedule, I’ll make a post here and message back those who messaged me on XBL the time we will do this.

Don’t let this thread get buried by the mindless complaints and “Why insert game here is better than Halo 4” threads. We can have some real fun with this.

I think they’re fine. I did a pretty close job to make these classic customs. The only thing not classic is sprint. I did have some problems figuring out the map ordinance stuff, but that’s fine. I used Slayer Pro, so there’s no map ordinance anyway. I’m not sure if there’s an option to make your own map ordinance. I think it’d be possible to do it in Forge. I’ll try it out later, maybe after tonight’s custom games.

I have the games saved to my Xbox, so it’d probably be easier to host. As for time, I’ll be on in 30 min to an hour. I’d say 7:00 PM, Central Standard Time. For you it’d be 8:00. Others, just calculate. Message me on XBL saying who you are and I’ll invite you. I’ll start when we have a full game for a 4v4. We will also do the FFA Slayer games with the eight of us.
