Just saw a few people trying out halo infinite (or some sort a beta version of it), want to try it out but wondering is this a limited thing as you have to do it in a certain time or a certain amount of people can download it?

It’s not a beta, it’s a tech preview.
If you’re on the Xbox Insider and Halo Insider programs then you may have gotten an email about it, if not then no, there’s no way to get access to this one right now.
There are probably going to be future ones though so if you’re interested, sign up to be a Halo Insider.
