Hey guys! More 343i logic.

Can someone explain to me why there wasn’t a separation with social and ranked playlists at launch? And by someone, I mean mods because you guys seem to know what people want with your high population in Halo 4. Was there any difficulty to add in at least arena?

And what on earth makes you think we have any inside knowledge?

We’re normal forum goers like you guys.

Not enough bandwidth.

Why so oblivious to the obvious OP?

Did you not read my post or what… this was aimed towards MODS.

You have no purpose. “Fetch me Kevin Franklin!” *in Sheldon Cooper’s voice.

I know you want to hear from 343i, on this over, but they’ve already discussed this on other sites. Not to mention no one will answer this until tomorrow, anyway.

Frank O’Connor stated that the old ranked system was pointless before because people would just buy their 50 instead of earning it themselves. And it wasn’t just a few people, either. [No link for this one, unfortunately] Add in the fact that they had to work from scratch [as stated in the 1.9.13 bulletin], and you have a huge problem getting a ranking system working as intended.

Once they get the system up, there’s no guarantee that there will be a huge array of ranked playlists, as they limit the playlists in order to not fragment the community [12.12.12 bulletin]. The answers are already out there, you just need to find them.

Mods are not just members of 343i you know.

They help maintain the balance around here to avoid spam and insulting.

Peacekeepers.

And what do you want us to say, exactly? Snicker covered it nicely above, we’re just regular forum users/Halo fans appointed to help keep things civil on the forum. We have no say in how the game is made/handled.

You want an answer, tweet Franklin yourself, we’re not your personal errand runners.

Oh silly me. I thought that’s what this rank meant.

In the old country, we refer to that as a burn.

Are you guys really going to argue with this troll?

Because 343 IDK guess they just wanted to do things differently.

“Frank O’Connor stated that the old ranked system was pointless before because people would just buy their 50 instead of earning it themselves.”

And that affects the game in what sense? All that means that the people that bought the 50 would have to play out their hardest to keep that 50 which would still mean the game will remain competitive. If people decide to sell their 50 accounts then so be it. It’s almost like you forgot the fiasco Reach had with manipulating the SOCIAL playlist system. Should we remove that too?

My mistake since you serve no importance towards the game… you can leave this post now.

All the ‘‘monitors’’ do is to keep this website clean. They have nothing to do with the game. They are just like you and me.

Snickerdoodle is right, they are just regular goers just being able to maintain forums and keep things clean.

I would believe one of monitors actually supports something that is a major flaw to Halo 4. If I am correct here, it is Jacob supporting for more custom game options. (Probably they are way more examples out their.)

Simply saying, you can’t blame them.
