This one is new. I noticed that sometimes when doing the overcharge, after releasing it, it shoots out another shot, kind of like the reload glitch, because it shoots immediately after the overcharge. Except this one isn’t patched yet. I didn’t think it would be much use, but today I accidentally used it twice. I was at a range where the overcharge didn’t kill, but it took down the shields and the leftover shot did the deeds with a headshot. I think you just spam the trigger after doing the overcharge, but I’m not sure. I tried to test it in a custom game alone, but I think you have to be off-host or something, because it wouldn’t work. But until this is patched, it’s basically kind of like a mini BXR thing. I’ll try to post a clip in my file share tomorrow, but I just wanted to get this out there.
EDIT: I uploaded it to my file share under “Boltshot Pwnage”. The glitch is the second kill.
I’ve done this multiple times, but majority of the time, that little near worthless shot hit the body, so I just passed it away like a pointless glitch.

EDIT: Nvm i just found some patch notes or what have you after a lil googling, so it sounds like it was patched a while back, wondering if the nade glitch was as well since i havent seen that one in person yet either. Anyways, has the reload glitch and that sprinting nade glitch been patched yet? Tried em myself a few times but felt it was just a dumb waste of time. I havent ever been killed by or seen either of these glitches in person. But i remember reading someone saying they werent patched just a few days back.

Thanks for the video btw, that looks like overkill. I slowed the video down and tried watching from another angle and i noticed something. First you shoot the volley of bullets from twice the normal range i believe. Again overkill lol… then just before i see your dmr pop up i hear the pistol shoot and see it land what the game perceives as a head shot. Not only that but then i see you switch to the dmr as you throw a sticky which fires off another shot of what looks like a dmr round. The odd thing is this shot has trail that makes it look like it was shot from above and behind you. Before that shot he already spins around dead, but then that shot lands and you see his shields go down again, as if they were magically back up after he was killed the 1st time.
So you shot him 3 times with 3 different types of shots, bullets, what have you, not only that but you do it from double the effective range, and leave a nade by his corpse just for good measure lmao.

Great so no campaign theatre as it is. If they dont use the update to gives us campaign timer/scoring/theatre and instead they use it to patch everything used in speed runs… well they can count me out from playing and ill be going back to reach speed running

I don’t chase people around corners, any veteran player knows the golden rule of Halo.
I simply hate the Boltshot cause its a 1 shot kill weapon you can spawn with that has greater range than an actual shotgun, not to mention that it is rapid firing and headshot capable. Couple that with the rampant latency caused by the lack of a good connection search filter and that baby can kill from a great distance.
