Been seeing alot of people not in game chat and doing things constantly getting themselves killed and our team no where. I’ve also had moments where there are a group of friends with Mic’s all in party chat doing something totally different from us in game chat.
What happened to the days of
“We got a match, see if anyone has a mic?”
"Anyone remember when party chat was release. My friends and I were geeking out for finally being able to talk to alot of people across games WITHOUT using private chat’s 1on1."We also hated constantly having to press the up button on the D-Pad to talk in Halo 3 when the party reached a certain limit.
Now everyone assumes people in game chat are lesser creatures that should be ignored. You might not like listening to that music but you can a ask someone to turn it down, you might not like listening to that kinetic but you can tell that dude to unplug it and you might not like that baby screaming in the background but atleast you get the the wonders of child birth. To be honest those people might have some problems but you get the point.
Most people aren’t even like that, isn’t it terrible to assume that the majority of people are bad just from a few examples?
I have the most unlikely best friend. The dude was raised with a -Yoink- image of my people but when he actually meet a black guy he started to see some bias.
Long story short, some people are -Yoinks!- but most of us are pretty cool, some come and join me in game chat.
EDIT: This is a bit of a funny story. Had a game where we were winning and the enemy came back on Warzone. Me and 2 other guys had a plan to flank the enemy’s second base with extreme fire power of a tank, shotguns and good placement.
After a long siege and tons of dead reds, we are starting to take the base and someone starts yelling. One of the guys from party chat came out to “greet” us. Calling us all sorts of things because we weren’t helping them take the spire. The rest of this guy’s crew came out to add on to it and caused us to lose the siege because I as the tank driver, was distracted by suddenly fighting a two way war ( one of them was so mad that they started ramming me with a warthog block my shots." that we lost the game from not holding more bases and when the game was over they started raging at the enemy team to report us for not helping them.
