Anybody have any idea when this will take effect? I’m excited for it.
No…Im maybe a DMR user, but i would like to see the 4 Shot BR.
Heard a rumor that 343 was doing it and its on the front page of halotracker. If it really is true then I would be alot happier with H4 than I am now
I’m a BR user and I cannot wait til the BR gets its overdue buff.
HINT: Even if the BR becomes a 4-Shot BR, it will still be no match for the DMR, when it comes to BTB maps.

That’s fine. The DMR’s SUPPOSED to rule BTB (well, it and the LR, but the LR can’t compete with the DMR in it’s current state, thankfully it’s getting buffed too).
The BR should be the primary choice of most players for 4v4 gametypes though, with the Carbine being a viable second choice. But the current state of the weapon’s balancing makes it basically dominant no matter the map size.

And that’s cool, the DMR is for long range. And now the BR should wreck the DMR in close combat, as what it should have been since the beginning.

i think they’re making the range equal to the DMR but bringing the DMRs range

I was, until yesterday. Been using the Carbine and Lightrifles…love them!

Well, for BR range, i don’t think it’ll go far compared to the DMR.
I think Bravo said they will let us know when the weapon tuning will be released in next weeks halo bulletin. (correct me if im wrong)
Although im super excited about the 4 shot BR, im equally excited for the Carbine as well… CANT WAIT!
This will really help make the Arctic BR I got a lot more fun to use.

Which is the whole point. But when 343i developed the game they didn’t listen to the golden rule of weapon balancing.
The longer a weapon’s range, the lower it’s dps, and aim assist, should be.
The DMR’s killtime being faster than the BR’s was a colossal mistake. As the DMR became an all purpose weapon, and the BR got shelfed.
The DMR should have a slower killtime than the BR, reason being because the BR lacks the accuracy to fight once beyond it’s range limit. So the DMR is still guaranteed to win fights once you reach it’s element.

But in close to mid range…the BR will win.
at a minimum, 2-3 weeks. Probly much longer :-/
dmr with br firepower combo should be pretty nasty to deal with then
