Maybe it could be made competitive by being similar to Rocket Race, but give the passengers Spartan Lasers or maybe railguns if I use the H4 engine.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this will happen. Halo 4 has the better weapons for a game mode like this because flying through the air would make getting hit with rockets extremely difficult(hence the call or railgun or spartan laser). However, Halo 4’s forge in MCC is broken in the sense that it is impossible to edit trait zones. You can place them, but you cannot edit them(in H4 on the 360, trait zones were edited using the pause menu. Pause menu on MCC lacks the necessary options). Therefore, no low gravity for the entire map. Editing the player traits in the gametype to lower the gravity works fine for running around, but does not carry over to vehicles.
H2A’s forge has working trait zones, but lacks the weapon set to make a gametype like this fun. Furthermore, the traitzones don’t seem to stack unfortunately, so I could only lessen the gravity to 50%, which didn’t seem to have as big of an impact on vehicles as I had hoped.

I unleash my inner rage when someone move my gosh danged Gungoose. Also, Moongooses as Req items? Definitely needs to be there. The last Halo that released without Moongooses was terrible.

Awwww, that’s a shame. I’ll be seeing if I can do this next week in Halo 5 when Forge hits!
