Hoping to see it again in Infinite?
It was somewhat useful during the campaign at certain points, but I don’t think it will return in Infinite.
I forgot about this completely until just now to be honest. I have no memory of this even being in multiplayer.
I think it was a great ability and I’d welcome it or something like it back to the franchise. It provides a tactical approach to entering areas which may be held up by shotgun or sword wielding players.

I think it was a perk for a loadout.

Was it even in multiplayer? I forgot about it too, I only played Halo 4 for about 6-8 months and rarely ventured outside of grifball and swat.
hey if it is i hope i can pull this off again
also lol at the amount of people forgetting about this great armour ability right up there with armour lock

Lol. This is kind of a joke. I barely played Halo 4, but I played a TON of Modern Warfare 2 around that time, and I played for weeks just using the riot shield.
When I saw hardlight in halo 4, it was reminiscent of those times, so I used it.

There’s a reason for that
@op can’t say I was a fan of it. I guess it could work as some type of equipment… maybe, but overall, I can care less if it was back or not.
Doubt it, that’s more fitting as an armor ability than equipment which is what 343 is looking to implement instead. Unless they have a timer where it disconnects after being used.
I never used it as it restricted my mobility too much (which could’ve been the way it was balanced).
But pulling of what FriendlyStu16 did is something I never thought of.
