Hey 343i, what the hell am I supposed to do now?

What the Halo Veterans (like myself I am one) need to start accepting is that we have several other Halo games already that we can go back and play (and if you wanted to have BR starts, you can just make a custom game with those settings and invite people). Honestly not every single Halo game has to be completely traditional anymore, you can go back to MCC or Halo 5 and play them there. I know your going to say “but I want to play BR starts in the most current Halo game”, the thing is 343 does what they want that is new and creative to try out. I am sure they will rotate in traditional BR starts playlists but its only going to be rotational probably.

I’d rather have 343i add another Quickplay playlist, but replace the Sidekick with the BR. I don’t think I’m asking too much.

You only play infinte with your friends
Your friends only play infinifte with you
You play together 100% od the time
You play Ranked together

If thast correct, then I question how you can be onyx and they are silver and gold

Ranking is based on win/loss if I’m not mistaken
If you only play ranked with these people and you are onyx, theoretically they should also be onyx or at the very least plat
So i’m confused by this scenario

That’s how it was in Halo 3. I think Infinite’s ranking system is based more on kills and deaths. They hardly ever have a positive KDR, because they play the objective hard. I’ve hit Onyx 3 times since Halo: Infinite launched (season 1, when 343i reset the ranks in February, & season 2) and they’ve never even gotten close to mid-Gold.

Personally, I’d prefer to go back to how the Halo 3 ranks work, because fighting rank 30-40 players felt easier compared to what I’ve dealt with since Infinite launched.

Newsflash you already were screwing people over by playing with a sliver and gold. I wonder if you still would have enjoyed it that much if you since you are Onyx they put your team against a whole other team of Onyx’s in every match. don’t act like you were not eating good with those lighter match ups and padding your own stats.

Almost all of us in ranked just want fair matches against others in our skill level. The old way of doing ranked turned more people off and away from ranked than this right move will, and will hopefully bring more people back. Players Playing the way you were is cheating the system.

Sidenote; according to HaloTracker.com there are more Onyx players in Open ranked than any other rank. There is seriously something wrong with that picture.
You should have no problem finding matches with those kind of numbers, that is if you finally want to pick on someone your own size.

Did you even read my post?

I’m not asking for 343i to revert the rank changes. I want a social Quickplay BR start playlist. I support the ranked changes. All I’m asking for is playlist with Slayer BR, CTF BR, KotH BR… etc, starts 100% of the time.

I’d be willing to have my Onyx rank removed and be banned from the Ranked playlist, if 343i provided me with a social Quickplay playlist with BR starts 100% of the time.
