As far as the adding more content goes yeah they’re adding more content to multiplayer but they’re almost adding nothing to the campaign I mean mission replayability and Co-op I know are coming but I am more looking for things like new vehicles, new terrain, new biomes, new weapons, and if all possible the ability to use weapon skins and vehicle skins in campaign as well as new equipment like the turret from Halo 4, jetpack from Halo Reach, and bubble shield from Halo Reach oh and I almost forgot I would also like classic weapons from Halo CE to return like the shotgun and Magnum amongst others with their damage and ammo from Halo CE intact another thing almost forgot Moore mission objectives right now all we’re doing is just running around rescuing Marines and blowing up bases and nothing else
Though we don’t have it, we can know it’s coming. Whether 343 should have told us or not depends on how you view it. I’d say I’d rather know what 343 has planned, even if it isn’t soon. Others might say, “Another empty 343 promise!”.
I can’t post a link because I have a degenerative thumb disease which prevents me from effectively posting real life facts from the Rick Astley youtoob channel.

PS forum mods: please let this comment stay. I promise this is a minor troll and will remove immediately if need be
Ray Tracing is 100% necessary.
I still have not played more than 5 minutes, and will not until they add ray tracing.
They did a bad job with the open worlds. Baked lighting, trees dont have shadows, barely any occlusion.
If you are on a console, have an amd card, or really anything below a 3070 ti; please reserve judgement on how much of a gamechanger RT features are, until youve actually seen them.
Consoles have some reflections in a few games. AMD sucks at ray tracing, even a 6950xt. Reflections arent the point though, and consoles can not support global illumination.
Even just RTAO would make the game playable for me. Look at dying light 2. It goes from looking like real life on pc with rtgi, rtao, shadows and reflections, to looking like the simpsons on console.
It is pathetic that they dont have this yet.
It has been another terrible xbox pc port, which have lately been downright bad, to, at best, a copy and paste port with limited options(like forza 5).
I agree 100%. I run a Geforce 2070 RTX SC Ultra Video Card with 8 gigs! I had to install Reshade and I use the Halo Infinite Reshade and Cinematic Reshade prefab. It’s close to RTX but there is nothing like the real thing. but I would be nice to able to have RTX in Halo Infinite!
At the minimum they could atleast add DLSS/FSR to help with game performance. If indie games are easily able to add these options in a matter of days surely 343 should not have issues…
What about the lack of Ray Tracing makes the game functionally unplayable?
So it’s a subjective thing, and not an objective one, got it.
I’d rather the game be functionally playable before a fancy coat of paint gets added on top.
You can slap a brand new eye catching pearlescent paint job on an ‘05 Le Sabre with 200k miles on it, but it’s still going to look and run like an ‘05 Le Sabre with 200k miles on it.
I’ve seen examples both cinematic and live, and while it’s a neat feature, it’s just a showy card trick.
Minecraft (for example) looks incredible Ray Traced, but it’s still incapable of rendering distant chunks without the aid of mods leaving the experience cheapened.
Just add it to the list buddy. HI has been racking up a tab for 9 months.
Maybe I’m a simpler man, but I prefer the gameplay of a game. A game could look photorealistic, but if I’m playing at 30fps with subpar gameplay because of it, I’d gravitate towards a cheaper looking title that performs better and plays ‘funner’.
You’re arguing from an entirely subjective stance with entirely subjective experiences and anecdotes to back it up. I’m sorry dude, you’re not going to convince me it’s a 110% necessary feature when you simply refuse to play a title because it doesn’t look photorealistic.
The reason people use Reshade with their favorite prefab is to get better get better graphics than the stock game grafix.
I LIKE EYE CANDY WITH GOOD PERFORMANCE!
Look you don’t have to use Reshade if you dont want to ok. But what some people do is complain about it when they have never used Reshade. If you want more info on using Reshade goto Youtube and see the difference or Download it and find our for yourself! Period! It ain’t rocket science Bud!.
doubt we’re anywhere close to them adding it. game runs like buns on my 3080Ti. hopefully in a year all the jank is sorted. out and its stable enough to where they can focus on stuff like ray tracing. aint heard anything about them doing it since pre launch.
Buddy you didn’t abide by the context of the statement the first time, so doing it again doesn’t really do much.
Then why is “Ray Tracing 100% necessary”?
This is why responding to the point within context matters. Because to @CBlan12245538 it’s functionally unplayable without it, but to you answering to the same question it’s optional.
Which is it?
I dunno why you think I’m railing against this. I’m just not for prioritizing a paint job for the game over fixing existing issues with the title a paint job won’t fix. It’s called compromise.
I’ve used Reshade, I’ve seen and utilized hardware driven Ray Tracing. I just prefer not to use any of it, but that hardly means I’m against it, other issues take priority over frivolities.
