Bullets come out of guns. not people heads
…what…?
What is this? i don’t even see…
> Bullets come out of guns. not people heads
The randomness of your post is overwhelming. Not really, just wanted to say that…
It’s because, while viewing a player who is shooting in third person in any Halo game, the bullets seem to come out of the player’s face rather than the gun itself. However, this was done due to the first person camera being at the player’s head level.
Please don’t post random junk guys.

thank you for your helpful post
i hate when someone only shows his tip of head and start sniping,it even worse in halo 3 since its 99.9 of the time is blood shot
also it really ruin machinimas vids
I agree with the OP here, 343i needs to fix this little setup Bungie had in every Halo (unfortunately). The thing is, in the setup of the tag system there is a section that calls for the origin of the projectile data to take place from the player’s camera. Doing so allows for a cleaner, straighter path for the projectile to travel rather than from the origin of the end of the weapon’s firing node (this node is a marker in 3ds Max that signifies where particles and what not will take place). Though you see all of the effects and particles take place from the barrel/end of the gun/weapon, the projectile and congruent data actually comes from the player’s camera origin (or head as the topic announces here).
From what I know, however, this probably isn’t so simple to fix, for switching from “fire from camera” to “fire from weapon origin” only affects the 1st-Person manifestation in Halo Combat Evolved. For all I know, Halo Reach and other current Halo games have a set up that demands and affects multiple other systems. Regardless, it would be nice to see this changed, especially from an aesthetic standpoint.
EDIT: Sup Hotrod.
Hey BeasTIN, just a reminder.
We don’t know what the hell you are talking about!
Edit: Get it now!

Read Hotrod’s posts, they’re the key to this whole thread.
OT: I agree, this has annoyed the hell out of me since I started playing Halo.

Just read it. I agree too.

Yeah, it’s very annoying when trying to take a screenshot in Theater.
