-A remake of Forge World. This would have reskinned forerunner objects. Reskinned Halo 4 forge stuff.
-Sandbox remake. This would have reskinned desert structures.
-A wintery map. This would have snowy skinned stuff.
That would give us a lot of forge environments.
More stuff under natural tab
-A big ground with and without dirt. Think of the tin cup upside down. Another one but rocky skinned. This would allow us to make natural looking ground.
-More rocks. So we have more variety.
-Trees. Not much to be said here.

1 other thing which is something which bothers me. How come I can place tons of objects, but I can only place down like 50-60 rocks? It doesn’t make sense to me that I should have item limits. It should be based on money. (I understand bigger items such as buildings)
Agree with all your points. Also, all the pallets are UNSC themed? What about covy or forerunner stuff? Or even Flood? Would be good for a custom Flood map. And yeah, the item and money limit annoys me. I ALWAYS hit it! LOL
The ‘money’ cap is there because there’s a limit to how many items the game can render before producing fps drops. Items with heavier textures (such as rocks) require more processing to render, thus you can place less (you can even notice how rocks in some MM maps look like clay at longer distances).
I don’t mind the 10k money limit. My problem is with the item limit. I don’t understand why I can’t just place more rocks on the map and less UNSC blocks. I understand why for bigger items, but I don’t think there is that much of a difference between a rock and a block or 2.
As for the Covie and Flood themed stuff, I think it would be cool. A Covenant and Flood themed map with Covie and Flood skinned structures would be cool.
It would allow us to have Unsc, Covie, Flood and Forerunner skinned items all in one game. It would also make matchmaking better because of the variety of maps and different skinns.

I see. I guess we will have to wait for a new console for a bigger item limit. Well, at least I posted some ideas for a Wall Coliseum type ground which looks a little natural.
| OP, I agree with the majority of your statement.
We need a true open Forge World with a large variety of objects and multiple environments available.
Human, Covenant, Forerunner and Flood, objects should be en mass.
The object limit is understandable seeing as the quality will drop if to much is used.
I’d also like to see a Climate and Time Controller. As to add rain or change it from dusk to dawn.
I’ve been asking for those since Forge was revealed for Halo 3.
However I know 343i is quite busy, I hope to see some of these in an update or Halo 5. |

Yup, entirely right. I’m aware of this. However, the system is terrible flawed. i.e since everything is categoriesed, everything in the building blocks section costs the same ($50 i think it is) which is limited. Think about it. Why should a small, 1x1 flat cost the same as a 5x5 box? Box has 6 sides, flat has two. Less rendering = less shadows = less resources.
This is true for everything. Buildings are another example. You have the very simple large platform and then the more complex two and three story buildings which have multiple ceilings, thus more shadows. Yet, same cost? I don’t think it makes any sense at all.
I would be alright with the money and item cap ‘if’ it made sense. Back in H3 it was acceptable, but not now. We need a better way to treat this. Hell, even no limit and just a warning saying “you are reaching the max” later followed by “you have reached the max” would be good, and just give us a % of how much is used.
On the topic of NPC players, I want that a lot as well. If you’ve seen the “campaign flood maps,” they can be a lot of fun. But, you must have a LARGE lobby! If you could have NPC Flood, Covies, etc., you could play maps by yourself or with few players. But then, 343i would have to make a long map rather than a square map. That would be cool, but may result in an FPS drop. Also, the reason they can’t make new items in forge and new weapons for maps is because offline accounts could not access them. I guess that it’s okay, but I want some Forge map DLC’s. A Forge World Remake would complete my H4 experience. You’d be able to pull off so many more remakes! Also, I love the idea of placable scenery like trees, hills etc. But I want NPC players as a top priority. 343i could add a new Fileshare section for “campaigns.” People love the campaign and Spartan Ops, but community-made campaigns would be a brand-new and best-selling idea. I mean, all of us think that after playing the campaign or a Spartan Ops mission is fun the first time, but monotonous afterward. This “community-campaign” could solve that! Heck, it could be a new era of Halo and will be able to bring in more buyers! I know many Halo-haters that would pay big bucks for a game idea like this, and I know Halo fanatics that would love an idea like this. I want to get this popular, so help popularize this idea! Help 343i see what could become of this community!
On a totally unrelated note, what new weapons do you want to see in the upcoming DLC’s for H4? Personally, a UNSC Lightsword would be prettycool. Similar to a lightsaber, this Spartan sword would be able of pulling of some EPIC assassinations!
