Halo 4 Is going to turn into reach in about 3 months with the current issues.

343i should have had a beta but they could “handle it”. It is like a little kid staying home alone for the first time but ends up burning the house down.

  • No skilled Ranking system
    Genuis, lets put in the same failed basic ranking system and get rid of the small tiny competitive part…arena.

  • Ordiance
    Lets remove power weapons and map control with call of duty based killstreak carepackages. Power weapons are supposed to help people struggling, but lets just give they people on killing sprees power weapons while they don’t even have to go out and fight for it.

  • Destroying MLG and LAN tournaments

Lets make everything locked in custom games so people that want to play tournaments can’t unlock anything.

  • Playlists
    Lets destroy Big Team by not putting in assault,snipers,3 plot, and other gametypes.

Lets annoy the MLG community by only not making the flag runner have a pistol(Seriously what are you thinking)but make it so you can’t toggle it.

Lets not include popular playlists like Swat,race, Snipers, or griffball and when we finally add Snipers lets remove it!

  • Forge and Custom games
    Lets remove 99% of the options from custom games so players can’t make popular games like…

Ducks
Omega Journey
Fat Kid
Mexicans
Stairway to Heaven

Lets make forge essentially useless because players can’t create infection maps.

I’m not whining for the sake of whining, I and most Halo players are mad because 343 is dragging Halo through the mud. Destroying customs, no ranking system, ordinance shenanigans…it’s UNACCEPTABLE!

Hey, I get it. People here don’t like that PvP side of the game.

But if the campaign, Spartan customization options, and some form of PvE thing is as good as in this game, I will love it.

And I don’t really care if it turns into Reach in 3 months. There are still plenty of players and I wouldn’t have trouble finding a game.

Basically I am saying that I was impressed with this game and am hoping 5 is just as good.

I was going to say stop -Yoinking!- but I see nothing but valid points here. So far I like the game but I do agree if they don’t get a solid patch out in early january that addresses a lot of the issues with customs this game will be dead to a lot of players.

Gotta side with the OP on this one, everything he said was right. I see a great Halo buried under all of this casual-CoD styled crap. Please sort this stuff out 343 or at least give Halo the decency of a quick death.

No skilled Ranking system

There is a skilled rank in every playlist right now. Thing is they will not show it currently because they want to make sure they are performing first. When the time comes, they will be shown on waypoint, and maybe online too with all these complaints. It IS there, but not shown.

Ordiance

I’ve found little problems with this so far. Only problems are the randomness in your choices. It seems fair in most cases, but once in awhile, one team gets binary drops while the other team all gets needlers/grenades/speed boost drops…

Playlists

They are being updated a lot more then any other Halo game. No complaints.

Toggling this and running is a fair point. Having this in the playlist isn’t bad.

Lets not include popular playlists like Swat,race, Snipers, or griffball and when we finally add Snipers lets remove it!

Playlist rotation. No problem. Keeps everything fresh, and doesn’t cause starvation in others.

Pry most valid point. I really don’t know what they were thinking by removing choices/rules/etc. They promised they added more to the custom games, yet they removed so much that its now worse then ever.

I like the COD crap and it is a great for the Popularity and future of Halo. Blind hating anything “COD styled” is not. I am a lifetime MLG player and I see that. So you need to shape up and stop being a female hygiene item. I do agree wholeheartedly we need some basic custom option or it will drastically hurt Customs and specifically MLG/competitive gaming(AKA Free advertising) in the long run.

Definite support, OP. I’m trying to find my Halo 3 multiplayer disc from ODST. Once I get that, I’m never playing this garbage again. If anything, Halo 4 should be a lesson for all game developers out there: after years of development under a single developer, it doesn’t do much good to introduce some person money scheming company focused solely on keeping up with the times. The worst thing about this game is that prior to purchasing it, I had been wanting a new multiplayer experience for so long. And now, I get buttyoinked with this miserable excuse for a halo game.

I’m just disappointed. I can’t yoinking believe that 343i hasn’t acknowledged the complaints of the community.
