If someone says on these forums, “343 didn’t put any thought into their game play formula because the DMR is too overpowered,” IT IS ONLY THEIR OPINION, NOT A FACT!
People seem to be listening to some of the idiots on here. If you don’t like Halo 4, then stop playing and shut up about it on the forums. We’ve all heard it (or read it) a million times.
I top the leader boards of almost every lobby I join. I’ve always topped the boards in Halo 2, 3, and Reach (although there will be the occasional fanatic who still owns me).
I’ve been playing Halo since Halo CE 2001. There’s my credibility.
Bash me if you want, but this is the only thread I will make on this forum complaining about the complainers. I just couldn’t remain silent after reading some of the -Yoink- that people continue to post on here.
Actually heres a question for you (OP) specifaclly, what is FACT in game development? I mean sure you can back up your choices with statistics in terms of multiplayer design but when it comes to game story, asthetics ,design you are actually playing a designers “opnion”.
If thats the case then what should be considered fact ?
I consider myself a competitive player and yes the DMR needs a nerf, but not a damage nerf. I think all guns in the game suffer from too much aim assist and bullet magnetism. They need to make the DMR harder to use at long range once you do that the gun becomes extremely balanced.
Here’s an idea. Instead of understandably complaining about the game, just leave so 343i realises how bad they’ve messed up the matchmaking for this game and that they’ll lose out on sales for future games.

Looking at your stats makes me wonder how you top every board in 2,3 and Reach?
Anyway, if not for people giving feedback, be it constructive or not, 343 will never know what a large part of the community wants changed. If everyone is only positive around here, nothing will get fixed.
Yay sayers lead to nothing good, never has and never will. You need ‘complainers’.
