Over the past view months, we’ve seen a slew of new information about Halo 5. One of the biggest things is the new REQ system which is how we will unlock armor, skins, weapons and vehicles for Warzone, and more. 343i has given us several ways we can get some free REQ packs at launch. They are:
Buying the LE, LCE, Console, or Digital Deluxe which will give you 14 free Premium REQ Packs, with two being unlocked each week - Buying the MC and/or Spartan Locke controllers, these will give you REQ Packs that include the Dauntless or Resolute visor depending on which you choose - Astro A40 Halo 5 Guardians Headset - Mega Bloks (Banshee Strike, UNSC Attack Gausshog, Phaeton Gunship, Scorpion’s Sting, and UNSC Vulture Gunship) - Halo Channel, be it mobile or Xbox you simply need to watch a video on it - McFarlane Toys - Monster - Hot Pockets - Halo: Last Light - Collector’s Edition Guide, also get the Prima emblem - Warzone REQ Bundle (take the premium packs from the LE+ and make it it’s own purchase for $25 - AXE Body Spray (Gives you Recon) - Skullcandy Halo 5 Smokin Bud 2 Earbuds - Skullcandy SLYR Halo Edition - Halo 5: Guardians Experience - Play the gameIf there are any I missed please inform me and I saw update the list.

Unless those packs guarantee a special items, you are spending money in a very indirect way.
Just buy then straight from -Yoink!- if you really want to buy them. It’s probably going to be cheaper.

Was going to say something similar. I honestly found it odd how the op didn’t list just buy the game, play the game, and earn req points by playing to buy the packs.
I’m gonna play this game so much, I’ll have REQ packs for days. You can keep those hotpockets. I may get the McFarlane figures for Kelly, Linda, & Fred (I already have 6 Master Chiefs, so I’m sure my Halo 4 Chief will do just fine with Blue Team … I think 7 is too many … or 7 is perfect because 7, I don’t know).
Either way, you get these for XP, right? And presumably you may get extra ones based on performance in Arena? Has then been talked about?

As far as I know, those are just stickers and not REQ Packs. Also it’s Mexico only right now so I can’t confirm or deny anything
Astro is now offering the REQ pack with the TMCC Halo A50s if bought directly through their website as well. I am trying to figure out if they will honor that for people like myself who bought them before hand.

It was just Mexico + stickers. In 'Merica, we get CoD doritos. And the Blops3 marketing has already begun with MTN Dew.
