I party up weekly with some really neat adult gamers, realized in a Facebook memories post this morning that I’ve been joining with them since Halo 3! A lot of the members in the group are map creators, and I really enjoy the maps and gametypes we play. I think they should be shared with the world! So I started making a playlist of maps host o Nondual o loads up on game nights, putting some of my favs in there since Halo 5 came out. Maps are of those created by Creative Customs as well as those found in the community, many with tweaks Nondual comes up with to make them fresh and exciting. Url posted below. I personally have remade Solace, Monolith and Ridgeline, as well as Destiny’s Shores of TIme, and am currently working on a Vortex remake, fresh out of the oven. I hope others can get the same enjoyment out of the maps that I do!

The focus is on “casual-competitive”. This means that we play hard to fight for the win, but we have mixed skill, and most of the gametypes are fairly tame. They’re not what I consider “Timmy Torture” gametypes, mostly we’ll play your general gametypes as found in matchmaking, but always with a creative twist, or with rounds or time limits that keep up the momentum of the night. Nondual, our host, goes through community maps before loading them up, making sure they have good spawns, and sometimes tweaking them by adding man-cannons or vehicles to balance the map better and increase the game flow. He throws in the occasional fun gametype to keep it fresh. When he does play zany gametypes, he always keeps a shorter timespan on them, so people don’t burn out. I’ve been creating map remakes from previous Halo installations, putting every effort into making nice, solid maps. Another of our forgers can crank out a map a week, always maps that people enjoy and have a lot of fun on. A third forger has created some very neat progressive zombies levels that are reminiscent of Left 4 Dead. And then Nondual himself has created some massive, awe-inspiring landscapes that are favorites. Most of our members don’t make maps at all, but love to play on them. We have more and more members trying out forging for the first time all the time, and producing some really neat creations!
I wouldn’t mind having some users to play this game with. Matchmaking is not much fun and everyone I know has already quit playing halo.
Forge is what keeps me entertained however, I don’t really see much point in making maps if I’m just going to be running around on it by myself.
I can do advanced scripting and can come up with new gameplay mechanics, gadgets and gimmicks, I’m able to do some simple asthetics, Really horrible in weapon placement and making a balanced map.
Since this game is 100gbs I have decided I need to find people to play it with and If I can’t do that I plan to finish my final forge project and then make room for 3-4 other games that I actually will play.
When it comes to playing the game I’m a complete noob.

Are you an adult? We have very mixed skill range, so everyone is encouraged to play, you just might get it handed to you a bit sometimes lol.
