heres a inheritor guide

step 1: have 7 other people in a matchmaking lobby with you
step 2: start up grifball matchmaking and pick regular grifball since their maps are the smallest
step 3: make sure everybody including guests has 1 kill so they wont get cR banned
step 4: hold the ball and do not score so it will run out the timer longer games equal a bigger performance bonus
step 5: repeat until you hit the daily cap for day and do it all again the next day

the reason why you won’t get banned by boosting is because they check kills if you have 1 the automatic system thinks you are not boosting

soon enough you will hit higher ranks and earn even more cr which will let you hit the cap faster

source: multiple inheritors

Sounds like… not so much fun.
And what then: you will be an inheritor without skills.
No fun either.

And what about the random 8th player that wants to play grifball the right way? Will he get “farmed” for playing the objective? Seems this is a very selfish guide. Why don’t you play the game the right way, get a team of two and have some fun…

He said 7 OTHER people, which means a total of 8. There is no random noob who you can “farm”. Even if there was a random 8th person, he would get farmed for sure, until he quits or suffers a -200 k/d. Its hard to play the game the “right way” when 9 times out of 10, there are afk’ers, boosters, and straight up betrayers. Whatever community is left on Reach at this point, is only there to get their rank/credits up. If you’re not of the same mindset then there are going to be issues. Can’t expect much more from a 6 year old game. If you want to play fair and competitive, go to Halo 5.

Thanks for the information, but that sounds boring. I think I’ll play Halo Reach in my own way.

I wouldn’t want to reach Inheritor, consumes so much time.

Grifball might not be really representative, because i don’t see anything like this in for example Swat, Multiteam or Living Dead. That’s why Reach is still a lot of fun.
And from what i read Halo 5 has some issues too and no splitscreen yet, which makes it impossible to play together with friends/family on the same console.

this guide was meant for noobs and people who are a high level like me which i am a nova who have sh***y internet and cannot get a better internet provider sooo yeah i do it because most of the time i play infection besides grifball and i rarely hit the cap because people rage quit or my connection kicks me out of the game and most inheritors rage quit when they die once in infection when they are in the lead by 15 points on round 1 and since when do people with high ranks have to be mlg weed smoker 24/7 some people play games to have fun not make it a chore to play

that is why you play with friends if you play with friends and have a conversation during matches it can make a great time and this is a selfish guide sure its so selfish to help 7 friends hit the daily cap and do i need to remind you of noobs who are warrant officer grade 3 and i would rather hit the cap early so i could have more time to play customs with my friends and it will still take skill to play other gametypes like slayer infection etc

exactly and most people on grifball want to max their rank so they can play customs more

“Fair and competitive” the only competitions going on in halo 5 is in the forums. Grab a team in grifball and show the boosters what for it, if not, avoid grifball and customs seeing as the two are intertwined.

i don’t know if bumping is allowed or not BUMPED

Sorry, bumping is not allowed on Waypoint. Good credit farming tips, however that’s not how I play. Plus I have inclement weather and most of the helmet attachments, so I don’t really need this. Being an Inheritor is awesome, but if I ever get there I want to earn it fairly.

thanks for the info and to be clear it is fair its just looked down on what i do is hit the cap play a couple of infection matches after then i play customs with friends

I once in while run into a Red/Blue team hoiding the ball the entire time. I know what they’re up to and much to my teammates dismay, I team kill to prevent from taking the ball and ruining the process.

I gave up on getting to Inheritor a long time ago.

what rank did you stop at? just curious

This game has been out for a very long time by now, we don’t need a “guide” to getting to inheritor.
