Just tried jumping into Halo Infinite tonight with friends, and I cannot even play the game because it says “User is banned”.
I’ve done nothing wrong, nothing with Xbox Enforcement, and any other game I want to play I am allowed.
I remember this was an issue for a lot of people when season 1 came out. Any suggestions to get around this B.S.?

Thanks for the tip. Ironically, the only thing I can think of that would warrant a ban was the Last Man Standing games I left once I was eliminated. They told us we wouldn’t be penalized but are we actually?

As far as I know, leaving after you’ve been eliminated was totally fine according to 343’s notes. But I guess there has been bugs mentioned yesterday (big shocker right?) and the bugs are causing players to not get Challenge progress when quitting after eliminated or even when completing the entire LSS match. Your bug may potentially be found in this area. Maybe the system is registering Quitting in all matches as the same and the system punished you due to the bug not recognizing LSS or something? I am purely speculating, so don’t take my words to heart.
Still, I would submit a ticket, otherwise you’ll be waiting until someone at 343 finally catches up on their work or the problem finally goes away in a far away future update.

Just following up on post yesterday…
…so as of this morning I am still banned. I don’t chat during games nor text chat so I know this ban is related to the quitting out of Last Man Standing Games. It is the only thing that it could be.
So, 343 either lied to us about NOT being penalized for quitting out of games, or they didn’t change the code to keep you from being banned. Either way I’m going on nearly 24 hours now of a “user ban”.

If you’re still banned after 24 hours, it isn’t because you quit a few games.
You are flagged on halotracker as a potential cheater for suspicious statistics when compared to the rest of the playerbase.
Probably something to do with that. Something you’re doing is highly unnatural compared to everyone else which puts you in the same category as cheaters.
You are likely banned for cheating. Only you know the truth.

It’s all stats, you may have an inordinate amount of multikills, perfect kills compared to the rest of the playerbase. It doesn’t say. Better players don’t get banned but you’re doing something that very very very very few players are if any.
So you’re either extremely unique, or a cheater. Or doing something that is having an overwhelmingly negative effect on the community. Maybe excessive quitting but that would surprise me.
Nope, my DNF number was at 18 matches prior to LMS being added. All of my LMS matches are registered as “losses” meaning when I quit after my lives were spent they counted as completed matches.
Assuming the average match of LMS lasts from 6-10 minutes long, the probability you logged 11-24 hours of a potential 141 LMS matches exclusively within 48 hours is low.
It’s either cheating or quitting my guy. Maybe both. Or it’s a bug, but after stepping into the theater of public opinion and openly available stats, I know I’ve come to my conclusion.
Your conclusion of what? I’m a cheater! Seriously? A 1.37 KDA and slightly above stats are not cheating. The only thing it can be is the quitting in LMS.
Also, WTF are you talking about 141 LMS matches? I have no idea what you are talking about? I have played maybe 20 of them. Where are you pulling this out of?
I played 17 matches on May 3rd and three matches on the 4th and that’s it.
Can you link this so called list of 141 games?! I need to submit this information if it is true.
I appreciate your thoughts. This is mind-boggling to me that I am being accused for stats. I’m above average that’s it. Look at my game stats. I have good games, great games, and bad games like everyone else.

Stats can mean any stats.
I can’t help you further than that. It could be anything.
Like someone else said the only thing you have obvious that others don’t is an abysmal quit percentage. One of the worst I’ve seen.
This does not include Last Spartan Standing.
I also don’t know for certain that’s what it is. I can’t help you. Submit a ticket, maybe see if anyone who knows halotracker better can help. I have no idea. But you have been flagged, so there’s something that is abnormal.
If you’re on PC it could be that their AC system picked up some software you have running as attempting to interfere with the game. Do you run any background apps that may attempt to use overlays on the game?
