Spartan Ops? Firefight no longer dedicated? Elites not returning? What is going on?

As the majority of us know a supposed leaked page image of game informer magazine has been released of an elite holding a sword looking VERY odd. The article postulated that several new features were coming to Halo 4 such as Spartan Ops. Almost immediately the forums reacted by screaming for blood! We don’t even know that this picture is real and already people are complaining that Halo is becoming ‘too much like CoD!’ Calm down and let’s analyse this logically. Pros=support it’s real Cons=It’s fake

Pro:The photo is clearly in Halo 4s style, the design follows Halo 4s current theme as well as the magazines theme

Con: There is a typo ‘call’ is used when ‘called’ should be; but you probably already know this right?

Pro: The photo is edited extremely professionally

Con: Some of the things suggested in the article seem like madness. No re-spawn delay has been proven to destroy gameplay and pressing X to re-spawn seems very CoD like as if it was designed to outrage fans of the franchise. Troll alert?

Pro: The article does also suggest things which 343 would do such as regicide and join session in progress which is something which 343 has hinted at before.

Con: This image is tagged under rumour not confirmed leak

Pro: The language used in the article is very professional

I really want this image and article to be fake but my gut instinct is that they are real. Cross your fingers and pray that I am wrong

Or have I missed some information which everyone else has seen? post below if I have.

right after reading the 14 pages I know have some context to the one page which I saw.

My conclusion: YES! There are some things I disagree with; no elites=no invasion which I am slightly upset about.

The AR looks nice and DMR ‘you scary!’. A lot of the new gametypes sound great and the visuals look good too. The elite skin colours look fine provided that not all of them are the pink fleshy colour. I’ve X to re-spawn thing and it should be ok so long as the gameplay is faced paced and Spartans die slightly faster (but not too fast; I want to play Halo not CoD). Overall I’m looking forward to Halo 4 and I’m glad that 343 has breathed new life into the series.

After the weak Halo 4 sales Microsoft has stopped the development of upcoming halo games !!!
