Here are my thoughts on Halo 4 MP

Well, it has its ups and downs I can see what 343 was probably thinking when they took this route for the MP part of the game but sadly some things just don’t work such as…

Plasma grenades/Plasma Pistols - These should NOT be part of the custom load outs. Why? Everyone uses them and basically makes vehicles even more useless then what they are in this game. Seriously, the tank is a JOKE on exile and warthogs might as well be paper weights. I’m not asking for overpowered vehicles but come on they just plain straight up suck in this game.

Ordinance Drops - Remove them please. What logic is behind these? Seriously you can do good in the game and be rewarded over shield and/or a DAMAGE boost?? Really?? Or how about let us reward you with a binary rifle or incineration cannon. If those aren’t good how about some rockets or a fuel rod cannon. But for those of you just having a bad game, well to bad you can’t have any of these cool over powered weapons.

Maps - Better ones please, they all are just to small and Big Team has no good large maps…no good vehicle maps at all. It’s pretty bad when the most popular and best map is a map from Halo 3.

Boltshot - No SECONDARY pistol should be a 1 shot kill.

Just my opinions, Sounds like I am crying about the game like most of you on here are but thats not correct I enjoy the game very much been playing Halo since the first one released on Xbox just pointing out my flaws with it but hey no game is perfect.

All these problems would be fixed with a classic halo playlist… 343 is kind of new so I cut them some slack but they should have added a classic playlsit to keep a few picky fans around…

I agree that PP loadouts break gametypes with vehicles, it makes BTB absolutely painful to play.

I partially disagree on your disdain towards ordinance drops; I personally think it’s an interesting twist when applied correctly. However, if a team’s getting destroyed, they make comebacks nearly impossible if playing well is rewarded with power weapons.

As for maps, do you seriously think they’re too small? The DMR is so overpowerd because the maps are so large it can shoot across the map, and its still very capable at close range.

If they make a classic playlist, they need classic maps to play them on. The current maps that came with the game are designed around the usage of Armor Abilities. If you play on any of the current ones without them, the gameplay will get rather boring. Yet if you play on classic maps with AA’s you’ll break the design concepts that they were created for.

ordinance drops should be completely random at all times. every single time, if my team is winning, needler plasma grenades and speed boost. wtf.
