Because both Jetpack sniper cliff spots were removed from the Blue side, but red team still has its spot.
Blue Teleporter still has the top of the Rock-Seastick you can climb up to.
That and I mean, welcome to Halo. Blue Team ALWAYS gets the shaft on asymmetrical maps.
Valhalla: Blue spawns on the side with less cover for Snipers.
Swordbase: Blue has to fight for Sword, but Red gets GL, Sniper, and Shotgun pretty much for free.
Guardian: Blue gets Shotgun and has to fight for Camo, Red gets Overshield and Sniper
High Ground: Red spawns in a fortress, Blue spawns on a beach.
Battle Creek: Red gets Sniper AND Rockets, Blue just gets a Sniper.
etc.
Whenever there is a subtle, or noticeable advantage to each spawn, Bungie ALWAYS puts red there.
Blue team Just got Sarged!!!
Blue is a much nicer color than red… it’s so unfair.

There is 1 map where red has a disadvantage. I can’t remember what map it was though. Isn’t in the cage? Blue spawn at rockets and red has to fight for sniper, right?
Also, Boardwalk is debatable. With Blue being able to look down their sniper sights first, along with the “secret” jump to rockets, it seems pretty equal to me.
I would say Hang em High is in blue spawn’s favor too.

Fight for sword and red get sniper? I’ve never seen blue lose sniper on sword base (or maybe that’s just me).
And blue auto-get rockets and grenade launcher on The Cage and are just a jetpack hop away from sniper.
And blue get sniper quicker on boardwalk. Possibly quick enough to knock out a guy going for red snipe.
(ps Reflection gives the reds auto-rockets and shotgun off spawn.)

Blue doesn’t have to fight for Sword, they pretty much get it for free. I have never seen Blue win the sniper before, Red team spawns literally on top of it.
Reflection is kind of balanced as Blue team gets the power-position, sniper and sword for free, while Red gets Rockets and Shotgun. However, the balance is broken, because Red team can get the power-position with jetpack off spawn.
Usually the only disadvantage red team has is blending in with the surroundings, except on maps like reflection.
Hog Potato on Hemmorhage for Blue team is more fairer cause the Warthog spawns just a few meters away.

If jetpack didn’t exist, reflection would be balanced. With Jet Pack the word “power position” doesn’t exist.

Yes, the jet pack ruins several maps. Especially Highnoon.
I do not like the jet pack.

Unless a certain devious Red Team are terrible enough people to completely force them out of their spawn.
But no one’s that mean, right? 
The argument against sword base saying that red is handed shotgun, grenade launcher and sniper isn’t true. Go in with an organized team and pull some jet pack -Yoink- blue will end up with sword, shotgun, grande launcher, and half the time sniper as well.

I don’t think that the maps were ever balanced. The game has its ups and downs, and we deal with them.
The blues seem to have a DISADVATAGEN often off spawn. I think it is just because the Reds are known to be the veterans and the Blues the underdog. Atleast that’s how it worked in Halo 2 ranked.
The problem I am having is when you play big team battle people and each side go straight for the mongoose and drive to the other teams base and takes the wraith. Then the other team is at a disadvantage and they have to kill both of the wraiths so they can finally spawn. I think that each team only has one wraith and if the other team takes the other teams wraith then they should be kicked out of the wraith and killed. It annoys me that people do that just to win.
