In honor of our troops, and Independence Day…this thread is all about…TANKS (and Wraiths)!!
So, you’ve just pulled down your Hannibal Scorpion (or Temple Wraith) to turn the tide in Warzone, and wouldn’t you know it; as soon as you roll out of the fortress, some @$!! trots up, hops on, and shoves a grenade up your…exhaust vent. Boom. Good feelings gone.
This works both ways, though…there’s very little more satisfying than single-handedly taking out some enemy heavy armor.
For this thread in the series, let’s share any wisdom we have on how to best avoid this suckfest, or (conversely) how to pull it off with the enemy. Respond, link or reference helpful videos, or upload one if you have your own clip. These are helpful tutorials for those who learn best by watching.
For my part, one tip: Splatter is always a possibility, even when your attacker is behind you (though this is a bit tougher for Wraiths, and hard for Scorpions in general). I once witnessed a guy whose turret was being punched to death from behind (super irritating) actually throw it in reverse, slam into an embankment, and scrape the guy off. Very cool, but probably wouldn’t have worked if his attacker had a grenade.
So let’s hear it, Spartans: how can we protect our tanks, and obliterate the enemy’s?
