Now I’ve read the rules and all, and i can understand the backlash that most gamers, especially those one youtube, are pretty pissed about that. To be fair i can understand MS is trying to protect their IPs, But i think these rules need to be reworked in someway.
But for now i am willing to cooperate with MS so things don’t get out of hand. So if i was a Youtube channel, whose content includes video game walkthroughs, Reviews, and even machinima, who just so happened to be part of a partner program on youtube, has videos about Halo and all the other games MS owns, what am i suppoesd to do to either avoid a strike from them. Can you like make a deal to get permission or something? Cause youtube provides money with posting advertisements, but if MS doesn’t like that, then what am i supposed to do? Please let me know. I love Halo, and to an extent, i like posting things like Multiplayer sessions for everyone to see, but if im at risk of being stricken down by this, whats the point of then posting it on youtube?
