I’ve been playing halo 5 for a while and it appears that the screen stalls for a about 2 second to 3 second duartions which is a long time when playing multiplayer. Not only that but players sometimes pop in and out on screen which ruins the game for me. Any idea on the cause of the problem? It seems it has gotten worse for me, especially huge stutters during moments i can’t explain. This only happens on Halo 5 too, not in other games like doom multiplayer.
Might me an issue with installation.
If you downloaded the game from XBL, try reinstalling it.
If you have the disk, try reinstalling it, and examine the disk for any major scratches.
You could also try connecting your Xbox One to the internet via Ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi. It’ll increase connection speed, and if your problem is Internet related, will likely fix it too. Good luck!

I thought that but when xbox is idle, my Download speed is 34.49 mps, latency is 101ms, upload speed is 0.94 Mps, packet loss is 1%, and MTU is 1480.
Is that bad?

The latency isn’t the best but it’s also not too problematic. Do you know how to make videos on Xbone? Double tap the guide then press x. You can do this once a hiccup occurs. It will help us decipher what’s going on.

That looks like lag but it looks like lag on a scale I haven’t experienced with H5. The servers have been wonky lately though. I don’t know what else to tell you, hopefully someone can hop in with more experience than I have to help out.
In the mean time, you may want to read the OP of this thread and post here. 343 is collecting data about server latency so this will help everyone out.

I guess my problem with the “lag” argument is that this doesn’t happen with other games. So far games like DOOM or GOW 4 have been pretty smooth lately.

Same thing has been happening to me.I called Microsoft and they couldn’t help me,I did everything you could think of but nothing has worked,I think its a problem on 343s side,anybody know a way of getting in contact with them other than just posting on forums?
