My automatic weapons will not shoot enemies. They work while shooting props in the game, but as soon as I try to engage an enemy, it stops shooting almost entirely. This is for halo master chief collection AND halo 5. Any insight to fix this would be great. Thanks!

This sounds like a serious issue that makes no sense. Perhaps the hit detection is all wonky.

Unfortunately, it been going on for months. I’ve tried reinstalling it to no avail. Really quite the pickle haha any suggestions?

If you mean you are shooting at enemies in multiplayer and the shots don’t appear to register it is most likely lag.

No, I mean in campaign or multiplayer, the guns stops shooting when aimed at enemies.

Post a video of it. Automatic weapons have been known to jam from time to time. I hate it when a round gets stuck in the magazine or chamber.

That’s weird, I haven’t played halo in a while (Because Overwatch) but is this a Campaign issue or a multiplayer issue? Or both?
I would be in close enough for the reticule to go red and still takes half of a clip to kill Spartan even though it takes more than half to kill with the ar.

Nope. Everything is fully functional. I can’t figure it out, sadly. And I’m getting my -Yoink- kicked online since I can’t use any auto weapons.
-Yoink-. Looks like they accidentally applied the nerf in automatic weapons for Halo 5 that the community wants to the MCC.
