Hi halo-players,
Im new to the whole halo - experience. Me and my sister want to buy a halo game with the possibility to play against each other with split screen (1 xbox).
Do you know what game I should buy??

Start at the beginning and get yourselves master chief collection, a lot of people complain about it but I kept having split screen with my brother and we didn’t experiance 1 fault
Halo 3 and/or Halo: Reach
Halo Master Chief collection is the way to go. It includes all of the Halo games excluding Halo reach for the price of one. The only problem is that it is a bit buggy and laggy, but it isn’t too bad.
Depends. What system do you have? Xbox One or 360?
If Xbox One, then the Master CHief collection is really your only option (Halo 5 doesnt have split-screen)
if 360, you can go wrong with either halo 3 or Reach. Reach may even be better for a higher MP population count.
Though I suppose halo 4 wouldnt be bad either.
Halo MCC is what you’re looking for! You’ll get a ton of hours out of split-screen!
As others have said, buy the MCC. It’s a fantastic gaming value for the money. Many many hours of fun to be had in it. If you’re new to Halo it’s the perfect way to get in. 
New to the Series? Totally agree with the other users, Halo: Master Chief Collection, is the way to go. That way you can start from where it all begun. All of the Halo games are fantastic for split screen but Halo:CE is certainly a must for the epic split screen experience.

Halo MCC. i rarely ever experienced any lag or bugs etc. i don’t really understand whats all the fuss about it. but in my opinion, halo reach 1v1 splitscreen, that gave me hours of fun
