So I bought a digital copy of Halo MCC. I was able to get to the menu without a hitch but as soon as I tried to start Halo CE the game froze and a loud buzzing sound came from the speakers. Also I am able to start halo 3 and 4 just fine, but halo 2 just infinity loads when I start it. I’ve seen others online with pretty much the same problem but I could find little to no help.
Things I’ve tried:
-Restarting my xbox one
-uninstalling and reinstalling the game
-signing out and back into my account
-launching halo CE with classic graphics instead of remastered.
All to no avail…
If anyone has any suggestions please say so. Thanks.
try launching it from one of the playlist options and then saving and quiting. I have noticed that if you turn off the box without saving properly you can end up with a corrupted file.

Try this. Let us know if that works.
Also, can you try launching it from a different profile?
Are all difficulty settings affected / all skulls affected?
Alright so I did the “save and quit” cliche and it is working so far.
