With the custom colors in Firefight, a friend and I were going for the CE Chief look. But we had a disagreement on the Assault Rifle, specifically, which skin should be used. I say UNSC because it’s gray, like the CE AR. He says default, because the CE AR “doesn’t have stickers on it.” My counter to that was “and the CE AR isn’t green!” So which skin more resembles CE AR?

Gold Standard is mostly black…
UNSC in my opinon. Why wouldn’t Chief’s rifle have the emblem on it? Skins weren’t put into Halo until 4. Maybe the MA5B had skins too
UNSC is probably what I’d go for.

Gunmetal grey isn’t black… And the default skin isn’t green. I think your TV color settings might be a bit off.

Osiris is black, gold standard is just a darker grey (gunmetal). Then again not every person sees shades of color the same. so /shrug.
The pizza skin is the closest to the CE skin. They both remind me of what I ate before playing.
The CE look is the grey paint on the gun, so you can`t really go for that look in Halo 5 :S
The unsc skin i guess resembles it close. Unless you have the fireteam Osiris skin that definitely resembles it most.
I would say UNSC.
