Hello Halo 4 Forum! This is out to all the competitive players of Halo. We need to save halo. This game is going in a downward spiral when it comes to competition.
The competitive community are the ones that will play halo long after the release date. MLG will not support Halo 4 due to the contract between Microsoft and -Yoink!- Gaming.
Listen, MLG pros are leaving Halo 4 to go to COD. Even Chris Puckett is leaving halo for COD.

I dont care if i get banned because i fight for my childhood game that is now being tossed down the drain. Help the MLG pros and the competitive community.
There’s nothing to save. Halo doesn’t exist anymore. Only 343’s lame attempt to copy CoD. The only chance we have for a true competitive game again will be Bungie’s new game Destiny.
the game needs a lil overhaul. the DMR is over powered, the alien rocket launcher can kill anything and everything in one shot even if it doesnt hit the target. the armor unlocks look like crap, the game modes they do have beside slayer are lame. losing team in Dominion gets indicators for entire enemy team to find and kill.? kinda stupid… gernades are almost useless, unless u sticky, but no one gets up close anymore cause everyone uses the DMR. so am game with the crazy multiplayer where everyone would spray and pray, and throw grenades and melee, and snipe is gone, and now we have lame modes where all people do is strafe left and right while no scoping with the DMR is what were left with.
bring back fire fight, bring back invasion, generator defense. modes that made halo reach amazing… i know its a new studio, but dont crap in our cheerios and call it raisins… in other words dont make a crap multiplayer experience, and just slap halo on the cover, and put spartans in the game

While I’m excited for Destiny too, I really doubt it’ll be the competitive savior people are hoping for. Seriously, look at how Reach performed on the circuit right after the most successful era in competitive Halo with Halo 3.

btw, nothing in this game was copied from COD that was not used by other games before COD copied them.

Snickerdoodle, are you HIRED (hand picked/selected) by 343i to be a Moderator around these forums or are you an actual 343 employee? Because if you fall under the latter than I suggest you go and do your job back at 343/Microsoft in order to revive this now dead franchise that you and your people are slowly tearing down. See where I come from, people who don’t do their jobs are considered “spam” in the employee population and are fired.
A true competitive first person shooter is only a dream anymore. I do have faith in 343i to make a competitive playlist soon. I just dont know what playlist and it might not be the ones I like to play. I just hope for the best and if its not up to par then that that.
