HELP! Repeatedly Getting "Kicked" From Games

Hopefully someone can help me or point me in a direction to get this fixed.

Every single game I play lately I have been kicked from the game for no reason whatsoever. This isn’t a betrayal kicking, but a “in the middle of shooting a bad guy only to be thrown to the menu screen with no other option but to dashboard and quit Halo to restart it” kicking. The screen it kicks me to is the game mode screen (in this case it’s a red spartan in the background chasing down a blue spartan in the foreground with a beam rifle). It has my gamertag/emblem/fire team listed on the upper right side of the screen, and options to “Quit Activity”, “Carnage Report” and “Spartan Hub” on the bottom left. It will not let me quit the activity. It will let me open the carnage report and spartan hub but the carnage report is for the game previous the one I was kicked from.

At first I thought I was getting disconnected, and maybe my internet sucks. But I can assure you, after trying to play on 3 separate networks and experiencing NO LAG before the random kicks, I very much believe it is not a network issue but either a game issue or an xbox issue. I have been playing on the exact same network for months now with no problems until last week when this started happening to me. I could get through a couple games, but now I cannot get through any. I have gotten the banhammer for “quitting” which I accept and am okay with, but there seems to be NOTHING I can do to resolve this.

Any help is appreciated.

Bump because this issue appears to be affecting several players that have posted similar threads to this in the Guardians forum. Need someone to see this

Bump, i’m having the same problem, but it’s not EVERY game for me, just often.

Thanks for another link. I have checked the forums over the last couple weeks to see if others have this issue, and it didn’t seem like it was happening. Now it looks like more and more people are being effected.

It’s frustrating as hell, and as the user posted in the link you provided, it is really pushing me away from playing the game. Hell, I pulled out MInecraft last night because I was so annoyed with Halo. :stuck_out_tongue:

Guys just an update from me. I read on another post that it may help to reset your cache. I did so and now have gotten through 2 full games. Which is 2 more full games than I have gotten through over the last 3 days. So this may not be an official fix, but it has helped for the short term at least! I’ll let you know if I experience the problems again, which I am assuming I will.
