Any tips for a gold player who peaks around gold 5 and then stumbles back to gold 2, only to repeat? Seems like I get stuck in placement matches with afks or quitters and lose rank rapidly. I know gameplay is more fierce but can’t seem to crack the code. Any advice welcome!
The best advice is probably to find some regular teammates to play with. You’ll at least avoid the quitters and afkers that way and probably win those few extra games you need to get to plat.
I play with randoms in arena too often myself, and it gets frustrating dealing with quitters constantly dragging your ranking down. I noticed my win percentage go way up in warzone by playing with my company, and it works the same with arena, as long as you communicate and people don’t quit.

That’s the only real advice any one can give. Find a few players to play with regularly so you can progress together.
